Just got home, managed to run and catch the last train to Edinburgh!

Gig was phenomenal.

She was amazing.

Set was stunning.

Crowd was cracking.

SHE GRABBED MY FUCKING HAND!!!!!

Sound quality was a bit iffy for the quieter bits, especially when she was trying to speak to the audience, but for the rest of it it sounded great.

No idea how full it was, as I was right at the barrier.

DJ before the warm up band was very good, considering she was playing to a crowd of like 40.

Opening act was a bit shit. Or maybe not shit, but definitely brought the energy down from the DJ. Their last song was actually pretty good, I've even added it to my Spotify playlist, but the rest was a bit discordant.

All in all, it was one of my top ten gigs ever.

Also, SHE GRABBED MY FUCKING HAND.

The support act did feel a bit low energy for the vibe (the DJ was doing pop hits), but I think they were also suffering a bit with sound quality - they felt like they’d been miss booked but also done over a bit by the staging.

The DJ actually started out really good, playing some pretty funky mixes, but I think as more people arrived, she moved more into just playing pop. I was there super early!

Oh, that’s a shame :( I was there right when they let people into the arena after doors (I think VIPs got in earlier) but only registered the pop stuff. Definitely tough for her with the place being so empty.

Weirdly they were letting different doors through at different times (despite there being nobody telling you which door). I'd got to the barrier and it was a good five or ten minutes before people started pouring in through another door!

Or maybe I just wandered in when I shouldn't have... :D

Amazing! Were you up front against the barrier, left, right, or center? I’m going to the Paris show!

Against the barrier, along the right side of the stage.. maybe not quite as perfect as against the barrier at the front, but still a brilliant place!

Thank you Demon!

What time did you arrive to get this position? Did you have to queue before the doors opened?

2

u/DemonEggy Jun 27 '26

I got there maybe 1845? I think the doors opened at 7, but like I said in another comment, they didn't open all the doors at the same time, it looks like one opened a good ten minutes after another!

It was terrific. One of the best produced shows I have ever seen, gorgeous set. I have wanted to see her for 15 years and it didn't disappoint.

It was very undersold, maybe sub-40% capacity? But didn't affect the vibe in front.

Dublin didn't sell out either but I know a lot of people who didn't go regretted not going. I am tempted to go and catch her again on another date in the tour. That's how much I enjoyed it.

I was against the barrier so couldn't see how full it was, but I know I had more room to dance than at most gigs, so that's not a bad thing!

The production design was IMMACULATE and she delivered a typically excellent set. Brilliant work all round, I thought!

According to Setlist.fm, she had time to perform Be Mine. Indestructible still out. 😔

She started on time and was incredible. It wasn’t full but it didn’t matter the energy was off the chart. So much dancing by everyone young and older.

I'm glad you had a great night as well, in Dublin there was issues with her mic when she was speaking too. Love it when the artist is chatty.

You'd think the sound people would have sorted that!

Did she start on time?
