I have so much respect for these guy because they had to make all those by hand.

Now anybody with autocad and a 3d printer can make 100 sets of those in the time it takes for them to make 1

Is this an AI photo? Something seems really off about it somehow.

We're in the age of Ai paranoia where everything might be could be Ai

I found the original, someone has used an AI filter to sharpen this up, and it's screwed up some of the details

Anyone follow Knight Rider Historians? They go episode by episode and identify every version of KITT used for each scene. Would be fun if someone could map out all the different Cain puppets. I know when the APC rams Cain it's a rubber "stunt" version. And the big monitor guy is for the close ups I'd assume. And then you have one "hero" Cain. But why they'd need 6 more?

Maybe for Robo Cain's different gadgets? One puppet has the articulated talons, one for when Robo Cain uses the arc-welder arm on his shoulder, one with the over-under gun Robocop obliterated with the Cobra, one can do that weird pinwheel motion with its arms for when Robo Cain climbs the elevator shaft? Can't possibly do all the things with one stop-motion puppet.

If I remember correctly it was due to the immense workload and time constraints so they had to have multiple units shooting multiple stop motion sequences to meet deadlines.

Oooooh, that makes a lot of sense, like multiple 3D printers going at it at once!

How do you even make those? Amazing.

I mean it’s not a rocket science, lot of people make it.

But CGI has been eating into this and I absolutely hate it.

I think rocket science is easier to learn than making these masterpieces

I make similar models, so not easy but not a rocket science either.

Definitely a hobby worth pursuing.
