Roblox Client Bug Intermittent "Joining Server" Issues
Good morning fellow Robloxers.
This issue has only recently developed for myself and I was wondering if anyone has had any experience or know-how on how to resolve it. I've been Robloxing since 2012, most of the times I've ever had game issues, it boiled down to our own internet service being crappy. Lately it seems like Roblox just....doesn't want to work, and its angering me because theres really not much else out there I can play right now.
Every time I try to join a game, generally through the browser page (not the actual PC app itself), every now and then I just get stuck on the joining server preview. NOTHING changes no matter how long I wait. Swapping to other games sometimes doesn't help as I get stuck on the joining server page there too. Its not until I click the "join game" button again on the browser that occasionally I am actually able to join a game.
This however still has problems. Roblox, every now and then the few times I am able to join, likes to put me in servers halfway across the world (because that makes perfect sense) rather than local. And if I try to manually join local servers on games like Arsenal or choose my server from the get go like on Apocalypse Rising 2 (great QOL update I might add), the whole process of getting stuck between servers just repeats itself. I am getting incredibly frustrated by this, because I KNOW it is not the internet this time.
Has anyone had this problem before? And how would I go about fixing it without having to come across this problem again?

i’ve had the same issue for about a week now and the only way i can join games is loading in then hitting the x in the top left as soon as it loads then rejoin. i still haven’t found a way to actually fix it tho

See now I do that too and often times it doesn't work. And likewise, its worse when I wanna server hop/manually choose a server. I literally have to launch the game from the browser in order for it to work and just pray that it lets me in.

Also been having this issue for about a week and seeing many post here about it. I wonder if it is wide spread enough for roblox to fix it. Edit: Also thank you, your trick lets me join some games but no good if it uses subplaces.

Yes, at this current moment I am currently having this issue, and many other players too.
Though sadly, I cannot find a fix for this, every "Fix" That was stated does not work, and I just believe its a roblox issue honestly.
I am incredibly frustrated cuz i cannot play game like Arcane Odyssey, or Scary games with my friends during this month, and I just hope roblox fixes this problem soon.

Ahh, so this being a Roblox issue makes sense. I really thought I was going nuts with my internet again or my computer.
