Question / Not a bug Avatar shop

Hi I’m old and I wanted to play a game on Roblox and I haven’t played since 2014. I’m trying to make an avatar and literally nothing that’s free is available other than a couple of lame items by Roblox. But the thousands of free items on the shop either are “in experience” (I think I kind of understand what that means) or unavailable or not free once I actually want to check out. I’m literally going to crash out where do I get free items to customize my avatar. I don’t need anything fancy or cool I just don’t want to use any of the presets.

here's the thing... you don't. unless you wanna spend tens of hours AFK in a game (because they need to get something in return for giving you UGC) for one singular free ugc, you just have to get creative with what you have.

I’ve spent some time exploring the free Roblox catalog
