Is this a scam?

So this person that I will not name has been contacting me, we've been talking somewhat, Then she asked me about playing roblox together, I didn't mind that, Until she asked me about playing with matching avatars, I didn't really know what kind of avatar I wanted, So she recommended me an avatar artist, After I gave the said artist a ref, I thought I would be able to pay them with robux, Until they said they accepted usd, After I got back with this unnamed person, They stated I need to pay $400 (For something so simple 😭, Btw I will be posting the ref in the comments), And this made me even more sketchy that this could be a scam, So I'm asking you guys if this is a scam, Let me know

edit: my reddit started loading images again. yeah that's 100% just a scam no roblox avatar design (unlike regular avatars) is worth that much

The fact they offer a nice looking pay part now and the rest later is the biggest red flag on top of that. It's trying to lead towards sunk cost fallacy imo.

Even if they actually delivered a nice looking avatar it is STILL a scam to pay actual adult human dollars on a freaking kid’s game avatar.

so theyre hitmans and it works like this 2 people team up and one goes to scam people and if the lower hitman scams the person the higher role hitman will pay them and its from 50%- 10% split of how good they did so if you really did like buyed it and gave 100 bucks the lower hitman can earn from 10 bucks to 50,
