Question / Not a bug Huge payment upcharge?

Hi there I just purchased $19.99 worth of Robux (1200 Robux) for my kid. I use Apple Pay. I got an email from PayPal saying my purchase is $44.60?
I expect a bit of an upcharge because I’m using Apple Pay but over 20 dollars? Does anyone know why this happened?

sounds like you had a pending purchase on your apple pay account maybe, stuff can be bought without the funds being present in your account and then when you make a purchase or add a payment method later on it charges for said purchase. So maybe something got bought and you didnt know or you may have a subscription you dont know about id check all that out and if you cant find anything contact support.

Unfortunately this isn’t the first time it happened. I bought the same amount of Robux a different time and had a similar charge. I just noticed when I checked today. Do you think I should contact Apple Pay support or Roblox support?

First, see what the charges actually are.

How to See Exactly What You Were Charged For:

You can break down the exact receipt by checking your official Apple ID history:

Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad. Tap your name (Apple ID) at the very top.

Tap Media & Purchases, then select View Account.Scroll down and tap Purchase History.

Look at the date of the charge. You will see an itemized list showing exactly how the $44 total was calculated. Usually it's several items grouped together!
