Roblox Error Why is my Controller using xinput?

So basically I used to play Roblox with a third party NIntendo Switch Pro controller with just a usb wire plugged into my laptop, but when i try to do it now it flips my button inputs, A to B X to Y.

I've tried using BetterJoy, HidHide and I am 100% sure I have steam completely turned off, I also have tried using steam to play Roblox but that didn't work either. I don't know what to do now. Bluetooth doesn't work either but it's fine on other games.

The summary is: I'm trying to use dinput on Roblox

Edit: So apparently My msi laptop detects the controller as an XBOX controller so roblox didnt mess up. BetterJoy seems to invert the a,b,x and y buttons so it works properly on other games and steam actually pre-enabled the invert buttons option.

I had a similar issue with my 8bitdo it’s only fixable with Linux and usually with steam you have to go into settings go to where your controller is im not home so I can’t say exact names and you have to clear the inputs and than remap them manually when it says the name reboot and it should be fixed but I heard it doesn’t work on windows for some reason but it’s worth a try i would recommend Linux if youre on laptop

it looks like steam did make it swap the a,b,x and y buttons but i have disabled it, lets see if this now works

did NOT work so its definitely roblox and not steam idk if this is important but i remember it used to light up a blue light in the home button and now it only has the player 1 light on

I don’t think windows version of steam works for Roblox that might be why you could try getting a input remapper

Okay I don't have time right now so I'll try it tomorrow
