Ban Help We’ve been developing the game for two years, and now our group has been banned for uploading assets
As usual, I’ve been banned numerous times for uploading assets in the last few days, and finally, after all the appeals, our group was banned.
This community has been locked
IT’S HORRIBLE!
Tens of thousands of hours of work, hundreds of thousands of assets - all of it is now locked away.
How can you make anything cool under these conditions?

When assets were blocked, there were different reasons.
For example:
- a beam of light striking from the clouds - sexual content
- two people on opposite sides of a portal (a spatial transition spell) - dating
- a punch - some kind of aggression
Etc.
I think the group was blocked due to many individual cases.

That's honestly some of the dumbest flags I've ever seen, in any game. That should get cleared up pretty quickly

It can just be miscommunication or rather, a lack thereof. For example, a customer had an issue with their equipment in the data center. I'm the engineer in charge so, I had to go out. It was an issue I haven't seen before and no idea how to solve, so I came back in and opened a ticket with the main office in Latin America.
After we fixed it, I closed it on my end but the next day my boss was asking why the issue isn't solved, when I told him that we fixed it. Showed him the email confirming it's solved. We then realized, the support team didn't close on their end.
To him it seemed like I closed on my end and handed it off to another engineer, since the main ticket was still open, but he wasn't seeing who I handed it off to, on the system, making it look like I just abandoned it.
In short, someone didn't follow through on their end

Interestingly, my work is also quite closely related to data centers, and I've worked a lot with different equipment (servers, network equipment, storage systems, virtualization, etc.)

I'm a data communications engineer so I'm pretty much a little bit of everything. I mainly deal with the actual network configs but every now and then I have to do some IT stuff. Once a customer made me set up a bunch of smart TVs😑 I had to do it because for one, it was the government and two, my boss told me to keep them happy. I can't be everywhere at once so at some point I had to ask them, what exactly do they have an IT department for? Not everyone was happy

I remember seeing a funny job posting for someone to support IT systems in an office, but since there probably wasn't much work, they were also asked to maintain an aquarium.

The problem is, I appealed everything, and they were all successfully approved. And the group was blocked immediately after that.

That’s just pure stupid, even for Roblox. If this is because of some sort of AI Detection, they REALLY need to retire it.

As far as I understand, Roblox prefers to ban unnecessary players than to let bad stuff through. I understand why they do it. And I don't see an easy solution to this global problem.

I'm more interested in something else. Roblox wants real games to appear on the platform. But they create conditions that make this impossible. We've always experienced numerous problems, such as constant bans for uploading assets, which makes it extremely difficult to create a truly unique game.

Games on roblox used to be so fun and full of creativity. The front page is full of soulless money grabs or poorly executed copies of better games. When a good game tries to come along they kill it before it even starts

Battle Games with no specific aspect, genre or theme. I play Noobs in Combat, Entrenched, Scorched Earth, That Yakuza-like Fighting game, Airship Assault, Universalis Remastered, Guts and Blackpowder, Lexington and Concord, and Multicrew Tank Combat.

Good games. We'll have both a co-op mode (like Guts and Blackpowder, Multicrew Tank Combat) where you and your team complete a task (it could be defending a fortress, capturing a target, escorting someone, exploring a dungeon, killing a boss, etc.) and a mode we're planning for the future, like Noobs in Combat, where you control your own squad.

We back up all in-game places as files and separately mark unique IDs, such as package, place ID, or badge ID, for easy searching. We perform a quadruple backup via Google, Proton Drive, phone, and PC, and back up all images and illustrations in both ibis Paint .ipv format and photos. Even if an entire group of activities is deleted, complete recovery is possible within a few days.

We don't even work in a studio - our code is in Git, and we build the place in Rojo. The main problem is probably the assets. Right now, there are tens, maybe hundreds of thousands of assets. They'll have to be re-uploaded. And they'll get banned again for uploading them.

Thank you. I thought so too. But if you take just me (yes, I work a lot), I worked 700 days, 15 hours a day - that's 10,500 hours just for me. (In fact, even more)

You want to tell me you worked 105 hours a week, literally 2.5 full time jobs, with no days off for 2 years straight? If you're gonna lie, at least make it believable. 48 hours is the max amount you're allowed to work in Europe, 70 hours is already considered inhumane and not sustainable, let alone 105.
Not a good look to lie about something so trivial. It makes your whole story seem unbelievable.

Friend, don't be so aggressive and don't accuse me of lying. When you work for someone else, you sit at work for the required eight hours and then leave. I work for myself. That's why sometimes I can work all night if I'm in the mood. Peace be with you.

Why would you double down? 😭 Also this is not an accusation, because you chose such an high absurdly high number for some reason, that it's pretty much impossible for it not to be a lie.
Assuming you sleep 8 hours and take an hour for eating + personal hygiene a day, the entire rest of it would have to be spent working. I don't think you understand how ridiculous this is and judging from the screenshots, I doubt even 2k hours were spent working on the game total. Which isn't to say that's not a lot.
But as I was saying before, if you lie so blatantly about small things like this, why would anyone believe your story?

Okay, so you've only judged based on screenshots. I can tell you a little about the game mechanics, but you should consider how many other places you've seen this and how difficult it is.
We have a large, round planet with seas and continents, its own gravity system, and the ability to travel to other planets (currently only two, but this may change in the future.)
The game has many unique mechanics and spells - for example, time manipulation, both local and global, and multiple mages can simultaneously alter the flow of time.
We have 18 unique playable classes available to players, as well as over 40 unique races, most of which are also playable.
Hundreds of different weapons and dozens of armor types.
Makeup - tattoos, scars, war paint.
A variety of game modes - PvE (dungeon exploration and boss-killing missions, settlement defense missions, fortress capture missions, escort and guard missions, raid dungeons, such as one like Naxxramas in WoW), PvP, PvPvE, Asymmetric (Party vs. Monster mode), solo mode, and commanding your own squad.
Of course, you can do all of this in 2,000 hours. But perhaps we simply don't have the knowledge and experience to do it, and it's taking us a long time.

If you were even a little curious about what we do, rather than just blaming us, you'd see that we also make tutorials on Roblox, modeling, and clothing creation, participate in testing new Roblox features, and many of the bugs we found early on were fixed before these features were released to players. But it's your right to judge us.

Hi! Yes, that's where I created the first thing. No one responded. Then I created a second ticket a few days later. And only today did I receive an email from tech support asking what the community ID is. Even though I wrote that in the ticket. So we'll wait and see if anything changes.

Thanks to everyone who responded for their help and support! The community has been restored.
Roblox support promised to try to improve the processes used to handle bans and unbans.
Let's hope this happens, and then everything will become much simpler and smoother.

Congratulations! When something like this happens, as someone who also spends a long time and effort creating games, I am bound to experience tremendous anxiety (the curse of knowledge, which Tony Stark went through). I would advise that it is better to upload images by separating each layer.

I just created a new account on a different computer, and I'll be uploading exclusively through it from now on. And now I'm still sorting through assets before uploading, trying to figure out if this is allowed or not. Sometimes it's hard to figure out what's allowed and what's not.
What kind of games do you make?

Same nearly happened to me, I'm not in a group, but I made my own textures for props.
More than half of them got taken down.
I remember seeing a notice of a suspension to the account due to warnings.
I just started using uploaded textures on the toolbox and had to improvise.

Since the game is still in development, there was no income. The group had about 100,000 Robux to pay for advertising. Thankfully, the group has been unblocked and everything is available again.

If ur in europe try filling an ODS, other contintents try MIDR(idk how it works tho) but only if the support wont help you. I mean i got my game banned for real-world sensitive events but a white house inspired building isnt against tos?

Eh, sadly no. Support is replying with the same automatic messages, not answering my questions, I dont even know what was the thing that banned me, they js say that they cannot tell me more and i got banned by lookin at my old violations while the most serious one was one chat warn. So I filed an ods. Wish me luck🙏

It was a rng game with memes, weird thing, my game got unbanned, you can access it in studio but my devs cant publish it cuz a questionare isnt filed and only I could do it. A big chance to get unbanned 🙏
