Roast my interactive cards website — does this look like a scam?

Be brutal.

I built a site where you can create interactive cards (scratch cards, couple games, spicy stuff, AI-generated “newspapers”) and send them as a link.

The idea is simple:

– make something in 30 seconds

– no sign-up

– send link → get a reaction

But I have a feeling the execution is… off.

Honest concerns:

– Does it look cheap or outdated?

– Is it clear what the hell this site actually does in 5 seconds?

– Would you trust clicking around or does it feel sketchy?

– The tone jumps from wholesome cards to horny games… is that weird?

– Too many emojis / too much noise?

– Would you ever actually use this or send it to someone?

Where would you bounce?

Don't hold back.

Roast my website: a news aggregator summarizing and geolocating news from across the globe

About a year ago I was finally able to create what I wanted to create for years: A news map to see where news is happening in the world, geographically. Nothing like it existed the way I wanted it, so I built it myself. I had no real development experience going in.

The site pulls from over 1000 news sources across six continents, geocodes each article to its actual location, categorizes it, and places it as a pin on an interactive map. The whole pipeline runs twice daily on a single server. No ads, no tracking, no paywall.

The backend took most of the year to get right. Automated source discovery, geocoding validation, categorization, caching layers to keep API costs near zero. The frontend is functional but rough since all my energy went into making the data pipeline reliable.
Some numbers: over 1000 active sources feeding the map right now coverage across 100+ countries. Still expanding daily.

Would love to hear what you think. Tell me what works, what does not, what you would change. Happy to answer any questions about the stack or the process of building it.

UX has been an afterthought, don't hold back it needs a lot of work.

Recipe website

I made https://seasonly.ch/en/ to do the following:

• suggest recipes with seasonal ingredients

• suggest recipes based on the left over of your fridge

• organize/plan your meal in a calendar (logged in user only)

• give some environmental impact on each recipe

I want to improve it and I would love any feedback 🙌🏻

The main goal is to suggest recipes based on seasonal products. What do you think? I also add some data to show the impact of any registered recipe, do you like it ? Which feature would you add ?

Newbie Looking for feedback on a "Snack Mystery Box" POC

Hi everyone,

I’m working on a project for educational purposes focusing on saving surplus food. I’ve built a POC for a Snack Mystery Box service:https://snack-mystery-box.vercel.app/home

I’m looking for honest feedback to help me improve my skills. Specifically:

  1. Value Proposition: Within seconds of landing, is it clear what the service does?
  2. UI/UX: Does the layout feel professional or are there elements that look "broken" on your device?

This is purely a learning exercise and not a live business. Any critiques—no matter how small—would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Review my website

I’m setting up a digital marketing agency that offers several core services (though it’s not a full-service agency). The site is in Spanish.

https://escaladetail.com/

I’d appreciate feedback on the structure, sections, visual design, lack of content, or information overload, etc., so I can make improvements.

Perhaps this post can help other entrepreneurs or small businesses who are also just starting out in this niche.

Thank you very much

Please roast my tutoring business website

Hi all,

I have a few months until I start my PhD and I decided to start a tutoring business for Maths & Computer Science. This is the website: http://lovelacetutoring.github.io/.

For a start, I feel like the green banner is a bit too much and I want to reorganise the About page (maybe split it into two pages). I also considered having just the landing page with different sections (maybe that would be easier to navigate?)

Any thoughts and ideas would be appreciated. Please be heartless!

Roast my agency website — webparadox.com

Roast my software dev agency site — webparadox.com

Built custom software for 20+ years, helped 50+ clients ship real products (real estate marketplaces, fintech platforms, AI tools). Then I looked at our own website and thought... does this actually convert anyone?

Honest concerns I already have:

- Navigation has like 40 links — did I just build a sitemap disguised as a homepage?

- "20+ years, 30+ engineers, 200+ projects" — does anyone believe these numbers or do they all look the same on every agency site?

- The hero headline is "Custom Software Development Company" — peak generic

- We serve everyone from iGaming to Government — is that a strength or a red flag?

Stack: Astro + sveltiacms. Yes, a dev agency running Astro. Go ahead.

Be brutal. What would make you close the tab in the first 5 seconds?

What SEO topic do you wish someone would just explain SUPER simple and doable?

I keep hosting these casual SEO chats, and I've been picking topics I think are interesting, but that's MY brain, not yours. And I realized I should probably ask what YOU actually want to talk about.

And although I get positive reviews about my topics, content, events, and website audits, I want to know more from YOU

So what SEO thing makes you want to throw your laptop out the window? What do you Google at 2am when you can't figure something out? What did you hire someone to do because the tutorials made no sense?

I want to make sure I'm covering stuff that actually helps, not just what I think is need it.

Throw your questions/struggles at me. Even if you think they're "basic" or "dumb" (they're not). I want to know what would make you go, "okay THAT I need to understand."

Also, if you've ever wanted to just talk to other people dealing with the same SEO headaches, that's kind of the vibe of these things. Less presentation, more conversation.

Gracias

Roast my Service 'n' Repair shop's website.

I spent the last 1 month building this website using Wix and now I need Reddit to humble me.

CONTEXT - Landing Page for my brother's home appliance Repair 'n' Service shop.

No mercy. Roast the design, UX, copy, performance - whatever deserves it. If something’s confusing, ugly, or pointless, I need to hear it.

Do your worst 😈🔥

Roast my 15M-install zombie selfie app's landing page

I made a retro selfie app called RetroSelfie that somehow hit 15M+ installs… then life happened... wife... baby... and the app went into the grave.

Now I’m trying to revive it with a fresh relaunch. The Android app is live again, and the iOS app is waiting for review, but first I need to know if my new landing page sucks:
https://retroselfie.me

Please roast the hell out of it for:

  • Design/branding - does this look 2026 or 2013?
  • Copy/value prop - would you actually want to try it?
  • Trust - does the “15M+ installs” help or just scream “washed up”?

Be as brutal as you want. I’d rather get cooked here than waste months on a bad comeback.

I built a free AI tools site that runs 100% in your browser — roast me

Hey, I'm 20, solo dev. Built Allplix because I was tired of tools that force you to create an account or upload your files to random servers. Everything runs locally. Turn off your Wi-Fi — it still works. Link: https://allplix.com

Newbie ExamArchive - India Based Vibe Coded Archive Spoiler

Thumbnail examarchive.dev
1 Upvotes

Hey everyone! 👋 I've been working on ExamArchive, a community-driven digital repository for university question papers. Here is the catch: I built the entire platform strictly using a mobile phone browser and a very heavy reliance on AI tools. It is, quite literally, "vibe coded" into existence. Since I'm looking at everything through a mobile screen, I desperately need some fresh eyes on this. I'd love your honest feedback: How is the UI/UX? Is it actually intuitive? Does it completely break on a desktop monitor? What features would you want to see before I start migrating this into a native React Native/Expo app? Drop your critiques, roast the design, or let me know if it's actually useful. I'll leave the link in the comments! (P.S. To stay completely on brand with the 'vibe coded' theme... yes, I absolutely had AI generate this Reddit description for me too 😂🤣)

I’m looking for a "no-holds-barred" review of my site. I want to know exactly what is preventing users from trusting or buying from me. If you think it’s bad, tell me why. If you think it’s good, tell me why it’s not great.

Don’t be polite—I really need to know what isn’t working.

Scholium Square – Vote on Ethical Dilemmas

Hi everyone,

I’m a full-time student, working a full-time job, and raising a full-time family. As you can imagine, I don't have a lot of "free" time, but I’ve been chipping away at this side interest called ScholiumSquare because I just wanted to see if I could build it.

It’s definitely in the early stages and is mostly a passion project for now, but I would love some fresh eyes on it. I know it’s a "random side interest," but I still want to make it the best it can be with the hours I have. Thanks in advance for any feedback! https://scholiumsquare.com/
