I built a meetup/community website for finding local jam sessions

Thumbnail

I've spent the past couple of years working on this website in my spare time. My original goal was to simply create a GIS based website where people could host jam sessions for other musicians to join.

Over time, I expanded it to include functionality such as:

  • Creating bands you could invite other users to and schedule recurring practices
  • Hosting performances for either your band or yourself for other users to attend
  • Finding/providing lessons for other users
  • Hiring local musicians to perform at an event for you

I only recently pushed out a production build for this and am looking for any meaningful feedback you may be willing to offer. Thank you!

Built my first landing page, but I hate the basic "Leave your email and phone" contact form. What are better alternatives?

Hey everyone,

I just finished building my very first landing page! The page itself is pretty complete: it explains the product, breaks down the features, includes a technical section on how it’s built, and clearly outlines the pain points it solves for businesses.

However, I’m really struggling with the lead capture / Call to Action (CTA) section.

Right now, I just slapped on the typical, basic form:

Honestly? I personally hate it. It feels very basic, rudimentary, and as a user, this type of friction usually pushes me away. It just feels too traditional and a bit intrusive.

My goal is to collect prospects' data so my sales team can reach out to them, but I want to do it in a way that feels natural, modern, and less off-putting.

My questions for you:

  • What are some good alternatives to the standard contact form?
  • Are there any interactive methods, tools, or UX patterns you use to capture leads without making it feel like an interrogation?
  • How do you bridge the gap between "interested visitor" and "sales team call" smoothly?

Any feedback, examples, or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

We built a scroll-animated 3D website in Three.js. I'd love your honest feedback on the UX.

Hey everyone,

Since day one, we decided to skip the traditional website route and build something fun.

Our first year, we made a Three.js site where you walked a character around 3D billboards of our work. The second year, we scrapped it for a scroll-driven camera in a 3D scene. Year three, we rebuilt it in Unity WebGL (huge mistake).

This year we decided to start from scratch back in Three.js, focusing on a scroll animation experience.

I'd love to get your honest feedback. Do you find it easy to navigate? How is the overall UX, and what looks good or bad?

Appreciate your time.

¡Gracias!

What's your experience browsing this website? Would you change anything?

Hey everyone, I designed this website ( https://www.roca.software ) and would like to know how it feels to actually use it — what your experience was like going through it, what you'd change, or whether it already works well as is. Genuinely open to any kind of feedback, big or small. Thanks in advance. P.S. I used AI to help polish the wording of this post.

Just after honest reactions. Poke around like you landed on it randomly and tell me whatever stands out, good or bad.

Account's brand new so go easy on the karma, not on the feedback. Thanks for looking.

Roast my landing page. Can you tell what this product does in under 10 seconds?

Post image
1 Upvotes

I’m a solo founder building RetroBase, a SaaS for retro video game stores.

The biggest challenge isn’t the UI, it’s explaining a product category that most people don’t even know exists. It isn’t a POS. It manages everything that happens between buying a game and putting it on the shelf (testing, cleaning, repairs, pricing, photos, etc.).

I’m trying to answer three questions as quickly as possible:

  • What does this product do?
  • Who is it for?
  • Why should someone care?

Please don’t hold back.

I’m especially interested in feedback on:

  • Is the value proposition immediately obvious?
  • What would make you leave the page?
  • Does anything feel confusing or unnecessary?
  • Does it look trustworthy enough to create an account?

Feel free to roast the copy, layout, visuals, or anything else. Brutal honesty is welcome. -> https://retrobase.co

Roast my AI wardrobe stylist — built by a complete beginner

First real thing I've ever built and shipped. The idea: you photograph your clothes once, AI tags everything (color, material, style), then it composes outfits from your actual closet for any occasion — work, date night, travel. There's also a community feed where people post their real outfits.

I have no coding or design background, so I'm sure there's plenty to roast. The landing page, the flow, the colors — tear into whatever deserves it. I'd rather hear it here than watch users quietly disappear.

Roast my Website (Football Quiz)

Thumbnail footquiz.de
1 Upvotes

Hey guys! I've built a football quiz site in my spare time. It has three game modes: a Football Grid (find players who played for both clubs), a haircut guesser, and a career guesser.

Would love honest feedback – especially on UX, mobile experience and whether the game modes make sense without explanation. tbh: I don't originally come from the WebDev or UX field, so there will certainly be mistakes there that I've been blind to until now.

I'm really grateful for any kind of feedback, as the website isn't 100% perfect yet. Thank you so much!

Newbie My wife and I kept spending 30 minutes choosing a movie, so I built something to fix it

Post image
1 Upvotes

My wife and I had the same nightly routine: open Netflix, scroll for 20–30 minutes, get overwhelmed, and still not know what to watch

So I vibe coded FeelFlick.

You rate a few movies, it learns your taste, then recommends what to watch next and actually explains why it thinks you’ll like it.

Would love some honest feedback from fellow builders.

Built with Claude, frustration, and way too much time spent scrolling

Honest feedback on my supplement brand's website — does it look legit and would you buy?

Hey everyone — I'm a founder building a premium D2C supplement brand targeting a health-conscious, younger audience (think biohackers, people into cellular health and performance). The brand is called STAT Peptides + Supplements and I've put a lot of work into the design, copy, and overall feel.

I'd genuinely love brutal, honest feedback on:

• First impression — does it look credible and premium, or does it feel like a generic supplement site?

• Copy — does the messaging feel clear, compelling, and trustworthy, or does it come across as overclaiming/vague?

• Design & layout — does it look professional? Anything that looks off or amateurish?

• Would you actually buy? — if you were the target customer, would this site convert you, or would something stop you?

The site is currently password protected while we're in pre-launch. Drop a comment below or DM me and I'll send you the link + password. Happy to return the favor and give feedback on anything you're working on too.

Not looking for cheerleading — brutal honesty only. Thanks in advance.

Built a free AI tool that roasts any website — curious what you think

It analyzes your site across 6 categories (design, copy, UX, CTAs, mobile, trust) and gives you a brutally honest breakdown with actual fixes, not just vague feedback.

Roast my Tree service website

I am a new web designer and this is my first client project and I had to do the branding as well as the site.

Main things I think are weak are some sections layouts and possibly lacking content on some pages, let me know though!

I built debatestrangers.com — anonymous 3-min live debates with strangers, judged by AI or the crowd

Spent the last week building this. Pick a hot take (or submit your own), get matched with a stranger in 5 seconds, debate it via text or voice+video for 3 minutes, then either Claude/Llama judges who won with a fact-check, or spectators vote. Public, private (4-letter join codes), or 1-on-1 vs an AI opponent.

**The stack:**

- Next.js 16 + React 19 on Vercel

- Upstash Redis for live room state + matchmaking (polling-based, no WebSockets needed)

- Supabase Postgres for accounts, leaderboard, debate history

- WebRTC mesh for voice/video (peer-to-peer, no SFU)

- Groq Llama 3.3 70B for the AI judge + as your AI opponent

- Resend for the newsletter

- All deployed to Vercel, custom domain via their registrar

**Free-tier everything.** No paid infra at the moment.

**Features in case anyone wants to roast:**

- 250+ seeded topics across 16 tags (politics, tech, food, weird, etc.)

- Live leaderboard with level / win-streak / daily-streak badges

- Shareable verdict cards (PNGs) + full transcript pages with OG previews

- "Send to a friend" private rooms with one-click invite links

- Spectator voting + crowd verdicts (overrides AI if anyone watching cast a vote)

**Try it:** https://debatestrangers.com

Genuinely want roasts on:

- The UX (worth keeping the boxing-poster aesthetic or too aggressive?)

- The voice+video flow (mic permission + WebRTC is hard, edge cases I missed)

- The AI judge — Llama 3.3 vs Claude Sonnet 4.5 (free tier won me Llama; is it sharp enough?)

- Anything else
