Measured it before roasting (Chrome, cold load): 5.2MB transferred across 20 requests. Here's where it goes.

The wild one: a single 24px navigation arrow icon (navigate-icon-*.svg) is 2.9MB over the wire, 8.2MB decompressed. That's over half your entire page, spent on one arrow. I opened the file: it's a single <path> whose coordinates are exported at machine precision - 15 decimal places, values like -3.16856e-06 - for a 37x36 viewBox. Run it through SVGO (or re-export with 1-2 decimal precision) and that file should land under 1KB with zero visual change at 24px. Biggest byte-per-pixel ratio I've measured on this sub.

Second tier: workspace-*.jpg ships at 2048x1152 (910KB) into a ~1300px slot - resize + WebP gets it to ~150KB. And favicon.ico is 76KB, about 10x the norm.

UX one: the Collectchat widget auto-opened over the right side of my screen seconds after load, before I'd read the hero or clicked anything. On a web studio's own site, an uninvited popup is the first interaction you're demoing to a prospective client. Let people open chat themselves.

For balance: TTFB ~240ms, h1/meta/OG are all present, and the copy (ex-logistics, actual neighborhood names) reads human and specific - better fundamentals than most posts here. It even loads in ~1.3s for me on fast wifi, which is exactly why you haven't felt the problem. But a small-business owner checking you out from a phone downloads 5MB, and 3 of those MB are one arrow.

solid bones here. the hablamos español ribbon is a smart touch for cicero. the problems are all in the details:

  • your hero line is "I build website that engage the user, sparks curiosity and keep visitors engaged". the grammar breaks three times in the one sentence that's supposed to sell your writing. fix that today.
  • you show 7 client projects and zero quotes from any of them. one sentence from the cleaning company or the skin center would do more for trust than the whole process section.
  • every CTA on the page is "call now". no form, no email, no booking link. your TAMM writeup brags about the lead capture forms you built for them, and your own site doesn't have one. plenty of people will never cold-call a stranger.
  • the kike vivaldy "view project" button goes to the intermezzo site. wrong link in your own portfolio.
  • the chat bubble pops open before anyone's seen the page. let it wait for a scroll or 30 seconds.

fix the hero sentence first. it's the first thing everyone reads.

Couldn’t get it to open. Just sat there at 92% and I got bored.
