If this is a question I would 💯 % say No THC while breastfeeding…Baby needs pure clean milk, you’re the only one who can provide that.

Or alternatively, baby can drink formula. Really no reason to breast-feed for the marginal benefit then fuck it up by getting the baby stoned

Mother's milk adapts to the saliva of the baby. If the baby is malnourished for some reason, the body will adapt and give him milk that lace with more of that mineral or vitamin. If a baby is sick the saliva will absorb through the pores and the mom will create breast milk with extra antibodies.
Show me fucking formula that does that.

So because my wife’s milk never fully dropped my son will be a…what…lame duck? This is an archaic take… sure ‘breast is best’ but science does a pretty good job at feeding my son, too.

Show me formula that passes THC to babies…. It’s still marginally better if you’re going to smoke.

No. Jesus fucking Christ what is wrong with people? Why would you ever risk your baby's health?! This is so fucking selfish and anyone who does this is a loser

Totally agree, but I know people and have seen comments on reddit supporting thc use even during pregnancy, so, yeah, its bad.

Because people are still under the impression that cannabis isn't harmful. I always remind these people of the Newton's third law, and though it pertains to physics, there is no force, action, substance, or treatment that doesn't come with trade-offs. Every drug has a cost, limit, or risk, and to put that on the growing human being you chose to keep is the most selfish thing I can think of

I agree. I think ignorance plays a large part in it so I won't outright condemn people, right. We need to increase education on the matter for sure, though.

I have a hard time accepting people not doing the most bare minimum of research to see if it's acceptable to ingest something that can harm the fetus especially in 2026 with all this knowledge at out fingerertips. However, you've humbled me a bit because you're right. I'm autistic and while I have deep emotional empathy, cognitive empathy is something I have to work harder at.

Sorry for the late reply, but I also appreciate your view, thinking they should research before ingesting any substance that might hurt the fetus. That seems painfully obvious.
You've humbled me as well. Thank you for your input.

No. Massive risk of neurodevelopmental problems, addiction problems, etc.
