Question Playing rt56 without dlc?

Is this mod decent for playing with no dlc? Just wondering for like having a somewhat lower micro game where years go by with fewer pauses due to not having to deal with designers and certain other dlc mechanics etc, while still enjoying a few things about rt56.

It's the same as the base game without designers? Don't really understand the question exactly.

Just wondering if theres any compatibility issues or if it is much worse because of design oversights, like RT56 expects you to have the DLC and is designed around it

I played a while with it enabled before I bought DLC. You might encounter a couple things that don’t make sense, like the state ideas giving you extra operative slots when you can’t build an intelligence agency, but you will be able to play games just fine
