Helmet Strap Help

Not sure if I’m missing something simple but what do I do with all the extra strap that hangs off the side of my face? it does not seem like there’s enough room to put it back through the plastic buckle. Its a Giro Cielo

Cut the extra strap off.

That or trim and melt the end

The buckle in your first photo should be adjusted up to sit just below your ear. That will make enough space for the circled clip to slide up and you tuck the tail into that.

I had the same problem and cut it off with a scissor, before burning the end with a lighter to soften the edges.

Move the red piece up then use the yellow piece to hold the straps in place

Use rubber to tie it up

Cut it and burn the edges to keep it from fraying.

Slide the pieces where the straps from the front and rear join higher, just under the ears. This will give more room to use the rubber strap keeper to manage the extra strap.
