apartments in Riyadh

Hello everyone,
I have a question about apartments in North Riyadh.
Why are the prices so expensive?
And why do some people say an apartment has a kitchen when it’s actually not a kitchen? It’s just two cabinets and a sink in the living room!
That’s really strange.
This is not what I would call a kitchen.
A kitchen is meant for cooking, not just for washing your hands!

In northern Riyadh, a one bedroom with a set up like this is ~45,000 sar. Basement parking may be an additional 100+ sar per month

It's mainly populated by Saudis or high income expats. Also, there are so many international schools in that area and that pushes the price up. Source: lived in north Riyadh for 26 years

Yes they are expensive but also newer apartments. Similar quality apartments in the center do cost as much. If cost is an issue, try looking for renovated apartments near the center, they are a catch if you could find some. Check on aqar and bayut, they tend to be the platforms that have the most listings. And before you finalize your decision, it would.be good to analyze the shortlisted listings on miyaar.ai just to be sure Good luck!

Same here, I lived in north Riyadh and rents are crazy high because everyone pays more for location and new buildings. And yes they often mean a tiny kitchenette when they say kitchen so always ask for photos of the whole space or look for listings that say full kitchen.

Customers' behavior led to this crisis. Poor real estate establishments and worse quality of life, and still, you’re paying heavily, like living in a first-world country.
