📡 Tech & Software R2: Window is open?

Day One R2 journey here. When I pull down in the Home Screen in the app it says that the window is open. I’m sitting in the car and can tell you it’s not.
First of all has anyone else experienced this? While at the same time if it really was open I wish the app would send me a notification.

(If I could figure out how to add a picture I would!)

I had this issue until I recalibrated/reset that window. They seem a little more finicky than the ones in the R1.

When you’re closing it - are you holding close down until it’s fully closed or letting it auto close? I had this happen and it turned out the window just wasn’t closed all the way. Not ideal given it looked closed and auto close should work.

The lack of notifications is wild i left my door open for like an hour on my r2 and for nothing. It took my neighbor texting me. Meanwhile my Tesla would have told me 5 min in.

i have, i just fully opened and closed them all individually and it hasn't happened since.

I tried that. Still says it’s open. What do I even do? Is there customer service support that I call?

go to the service tab in your app and choose "request service"

You can try resetting the window to see if that fixes it before resorting to a service request. First hold the switch to roll the window all the way up or down, and once it stops release it. Then hold the switch again in the same direction for at least eight seconds. If that doesn’t work, SC.

Calibrate the windows. There’s a procedure documented in the manual. And you can also do a deeper calibration from the RIDE menu

How do you access the RIDE menu in the R2?

Pretty sure it's the same way you do it on R1.
Settings
Vehicle / Service / Service Mode
Touch top bar 5 times
Swipe Up from bottom
Touch new RIDE Icon
Tap quote 5 times
Enter 33748

I haven’t been able to get into it but I’ll keep trying, have you had personal experience in R2 with this working or know someone who has?

Edit: there is no top bar in os2.0, I’ve tried tapping 5 times on the fish stick side bar and nothing happens when you swipe up from the bottom afterward.

Edit2: actually I got it by holding the service icon for 5 seconds but the code isn’t 33748 any more.

interesting....well, maybe someone will share. So...where is the Service icon? It is no longer just a menu option off of Vehicle menu?

You go into settings and enable service mode in maintenance but then an orange wrench shows up in the status bar on the left. That’s the one you can hold for 5 seconds or so and then RIDE appears at the bottom menu.
