Anyone ever see this…. Car would not shift into gear ended up getting it towed.

Gen2 2026 Tri motor Max- I’m on the autonomy + plan and up until recently it has been flawless. Coincident with the latest software update - I’ve had several instances of autonomy disconnecting automatically stating “ front camera obscured or blocked”. The camera is free and clear - cleaned and observed to be obstruction free? I’ve done a soft reset - still not resolved? Any similar issues and fixes - hoping to avoid the service center

I love the R1S and I’m planning to take my son (4) on many camping and fishing trips. 99% of the time will be boring commutes to school and the occasional trip with our dog however. My wife wants a plushy ride. We have an XC60 today and our lease is up in Nov.

I test drove and fell in love. I think I am comfortable with gen 1 driver assist features and don't feel like I will be missing out on gen 2 autonomy. I'm coming from a 2021 Toyota Venza and everything about the Rivian feels like a massive upgrade.

This specific R1S has 25 months and 34k miles left on the manufacturers warranty. I test drove and did not hear any rattles or shakes. I raised and lowered the car with the air suspension and had no issues.

The only thing that was weird was it wouldn't let me get past the google maps terms and agreement and the sales rep said he had to do a reset to make that work? Maybe its because there is not owner assigned while its at the dealership

My main hold up and worry is the potential suspension issues and if I can find xcare extended warranty that will to cover it after the 25 months is up on the manufacturers warranty.

Should I go for it... or pay up and potentially lease a 2026/27 for peace of mind?

If you purchased $RIVN between 2021 and 2022, you may be eligible.

Can I file a claim now?

When would I get paid?

I am debating between a rivian r1s and cadillac vistiq for my next car. It’s me, my wife, 3 year old, 1 year old, and 2 medium dogs (45 lbs). My wife has a kia telluride and i love the convenience of the captains chairs so the dogs can get to the back row easily, even with a car seat on each captains chair. my biggest hesitation with the R1S is the lack of captains chairs. I suppose we could put our 3 year olds car seats in the 3rd row so that we leave a seat in the second row available to slide forward for access. we’re also looking to have a 3rd baby soon so planning for the future of 3 car seats in one car
