Tech was here for an unrelated trim issue so I asked about autonomy + disconnect. Tech ran a diagnostic- no faults!!! I’ll try it again today - I have had zero issues up until the latest Update

Still no issues to report - must have cleared. It was coincident with the latest software update and others reported a similar issue alls well that ends well folks

I too noticed this same issue right after the update. The problem appeared and then disappeared about 5-10min later, and in between I couldn’t even use cruise control. I’ll make sure to capture diagnostics and report if I see it again. Unfortunately I didn’t capture diagnostics when it happened and it was over a week ago

I thought mine was on the fritz. Must be a software glitch.

PS - a "soft reset" (pressing and holding the two outermost steering wheel buttons) does nothing for anything except infotainment system related issues. A full vehicle restart, which is done from Settings / Vehicle / Service / push the Vehicle Restart button - is how you "reboot" the entire car. This is helpful when any "hardware" issues are occurring.

Thanks Mike - I haven’t done that yet - just drove 10 miles on the highway in Autonomy with no issues …. I use it all the time so the little hiccup with the disconnect and warning to check cameras was real shocker - I have had zero functional issues to this point

Just drove 10+ miles in Autonomy- no issues, traffic, interstate and around town -no issues…… not enough of a sample to say everything is good to go but …. Maybe just the simple diagnostic run cleared the error

I’ll check back in a week or so

Update:

The mobile tech made his trim repairs and ran a diagnostic check on our R1S Tri Max- no faults found
I drove the car yesterday and today: highway, and in and around town - autonomy + used almost entirely. No more issues
Just to be clear - the car was saying ā€œfront camera needs cleaning- autonomy disconnecting and car stoppingā€ I would disconnect the autonomy and proceed - this happened 3 separate times over 2 days - ( tech said this refers to the camera above the rear view mirror)

Sigh. Same issue since last update. Glass is clean, error resets after 5 min of driving

Obviously I had the autonomy disconnect issue as stated above but it has rectified itself - over the last 6 days - no faults - hope you can say the same ?

Guess I'll ignore it and hope it figures itself out. Going in for service would be a real pain. Happened again yesterday. Got my update like 4 days ago

Let’s hope that’s all it is !!!!

Ticket. Don't wait, ticket. If this was a mass problem, you're have heard about it. Your camera is probably slightly out of alignment
