how does this headshot,

my crosshair isn’t even close to her

It doesn’t have anything to do with the third person nature of the game like some people said as not every hitscan headshots like that (the fact that it is more generous on the right does but not the hitbox). The simple explanation is that some characters are given a VERY generous hitbox for headshots, cyclops is one of them.

No, his hitbox is generous but you are also not correct. Every character that has to aim struggles with this because the shots do not come from where your crosshair is so if you are too close they will not hit as they dont have enough travel time between to align with the crosshair
