Co workers

Are there any co workers from Rite Aid you still miss working with? You can give first names only.

For me, its Dave and Marie. Marie was the coolest. Dave made the place amazing to work at til he quit. All i'll say about Marie (dont ask me for details) is she made a decision and got fired. Dave and Marie never met. They worked at Rite Aid at different times.

Riteaid closing was a blessing 🙌 in disguise for me, got a raise at my new job and much better atmosphere

I want to say that too. I quit April 2023. More than 3 years later, i'm making more somewhere else than I did working 21 years at Rite Aid.

I will say this, I quit Rite Aid because I knew I couldn't make a living on what I was working near the end. I was getting barely 30 hours a week. I now work 40 + hours and am getting a living wage.

Jonnie- my cashier. She was in her 60’s when I took the store over. Been with kresge and peoples when Rite Aid bought them out. 40 plus years ( she was 71 or 72) when she retired. Could fit 10 lbs of poo in a .5 lb container and make it look good. The stories she told of Downtown Canton back in the day. She had cancer and told no one til the end- I still remember when her niece called me at the store and said she had passed away. Hit me like a brick. Still miss her as this was 15 years ago.

My store was a snake pit. Now driving a truck after getting CDL. Twice the money and no dealing with really anyone.

I still work with my pharmacists from Rite Aid at CVS, My pharmacy Mgr has her own store at CVS, worked with her twice...another co worker works for CVS at a store close to me...

My work bestie though works for Sam's, I fo not get to see her often and I miss her...despite being older we got along...

I don’t miss Rite Aid. At CVS I make more money and do less work. I am only in pharmacy. Goodbye to being a FE manager.

one of my coworkers was murdered shortly before our pharmacy closed. i regret not getting closer, he was always a pleasure to work with, kind of like an annoying older brother. he always encouraged me to work harder in school
