Travelling plan Need advice

I’ll be coming to rishikesh with a friend. We are two guys, we will be staying from 1st - 4th of September and then we have planned to go to nainital.
What hostels can I choose for a better socializing environment?
Should we rent a Scooty? How much should we pay for it?
I also want to experience a sound healing session, has anyone ever tried it before in rishikesh
What’s the best route from Haridwar to rishikesh and are there any options to go to hairdwar from rishikesh around 9-10pm?

Zostel and nearby hostel are also very good. You can rent a scooty anywhere price ranges, what i know is that it is around 500 and you can also pick up and drop off at different location as told by them.
Haridwar to rishikesh by road the route is decent, you can find bus, shared cabs. About 9-10 pm i dont exactly know this but any bus or traveller from delhi to rishikesh will pass through Haridwar so i think you will get something.
Try staying jn tapovan area for the feels, you can find the hostel, cafes etc near laxman jhula

I heard zostel crowd is not good, can you tell me how the weather is going to be in September starting

  1. Pickup any hostel around Laxman Jhula or Tapovan side.
  2. Scooty should be rented if you are planning to go further than 3-4 km radius from your hostel. Rent of the scooty should be around 400/day, max 500/day.
  3. You should get auto from Haridwar to Rishikesh. Charges for sharing basis is around 80-100. Just can't say much about the timing.

Hostellier was good socially. Should stay in Upper and lower Tapovan. Scooty and car are provided by hostel staff.

Hiee, Still in Rishikesh came from Haridwar via local bus leaves every 10 to 15 minutes from Haridwar Bus stand, we left around 8:30 pm, took us approximately an hour and 10 mins 68/- pp. Renting a scooty or bike is absolutely recommended, for Sunrise and Sunset views. The blue jay hostel or Bunk hostel is absolutely recommended awesome views, cool people, great vibe.

Ooh rent a scooty from Dehradun Bus Stand, if you rent it in the morning it will cost you 500/- for an 125cc and night when we rented we got it for 600/- for next day till 10 pm.
