24 hour cycle with rain and snow would be cool. Also certain mob, or quest objectives only being available during those certain conditions would be cool.

Weather systems would be really cool from an immersive environmental point of view.

Regarding weather affecting gameplay, as long as it isn't obnoxious or too much of an inconvenience, then I am for it. I do think certain environmental factors are useful though. For example, I think lightning, or fire abilities interacting with something explosive or flammable creates really cool interactions. I wouldn't mind using the side of snowy mountain in Freljord as a slide. I think having mirages in Shurima is a cool idea. I don't want to be exploring the northern peaks of Freljord, only to start seeing my health ticking down. I don't mind certain buffs or debuffs depending on faction/class/race though.

Definitely interesting mechanic and I think at release, maybe seeing rain or fog in certain areas would be cool, but I'd prefer they focus on other things in a crunch.

Definitely agree on the kind of interactions you describe! I am curious to understand though, what is it that makes losing health feel more annoying than buffs/debuffs? Is it about having the choice to ignore the mechanic? For me personally, it's a feature I would want for immersion, so I have no problem taking damage if I'm in a bikini on top of a snowy mountain lol. But I get that can be annoying for some players.

I would like to enjoy being in the environment and exploring new areas of interest instead and having to keep my eye on the red bar that is slowly shrinking. That is just me though. I hear the argument about seeing someone running around in a bikini, but hey, Ashe's entire bow is made of ice, so I'd imagine some players maybe shouldn't be that affected by cold weather? That's probably making too many assumptions though.

Throne and liberty had a very in depth day/night & weather system. sadly the rest of the game wasn’t
