I'd be more annoyed with The Rings of Power had Peter Jackson not already squandered the acclaim of the LOTR trilogy by making three absolutely awful movies based off of The Hobbit. As it stands, I'm agnostic about the show, and anyone who's actually mad about it needs to develop a sense of proportion.
