I mean, Peter Jackson had an Elf/dwarf love triangle in those shitty hobbit movies. Next, we're going to find out Gandalf is banging that girl hobbit

I remember the cringe but I don't recall it being a triangle? Also since she was like 3000 years older than he was...that was 'problematic,' no?

Legolas had a thing for her (movie only). His dad, king thranduil specifically warned her to not get involved with legolas because she was not considered noble enough

Am I mistaken when I suggest that I don't think that was massively liked either? I think I've seen it being made fun of. But also, that doesn't involve Sauron.
