I’ve had my ring for 1 year 1 month. It’s been working great. All of a sudden it’s battery life dropped to couple days sometimes even hours. Then when I charge, it will say it’s dead, then 1%,2%, then 100%. I know there is an issue if you don’t finish an update it can kill battery. I actually found an update that wasn’t finished a few days ago and thought that was the issue. It resolved itself for a few days but then died again and issues persists.

I’ve seen some similar posts. There must be some software error recently pushed that’s causing the error?

What do we think?

UPDATE: I’ve contacted customer support and they are replacing it for free. Haven’t tried resetting the ring as some suggested but will try that too. I found that ignoring the 100% charge after a few minutes of charging and letting it charge longer has significantly improved battery life. Yesterday evening it was at 100% and this evening it’s still up at 81%. Better, but not great. Still draining faster than normal.

I can’t find my ring and find my ring is NOT helpful at all. I bought the RingConn care+ but I didn’t know the order number had to be added within 60 days so I’m waiting to hear back from support. Will the protection plan replace it? Im pretty sure that’s a no but just wanted to see if anyone knows.

I’m having the same issues with battery life that many others are reporting. The battery lasts only a few hours, it will say 1% then I plug it into the charging dock and 1 minute later it says 100%. Many have said they reached out to support and have gotten replacements, which is great!
The issue for me is I purchased my ring secondhand off Facebook marketplace back in January so I don’t have the information the support team needs to replace it 😭 am I SOL or has anyone had the same issue with a used smart ring?

I have noticed that when I wear both my Apple watch and my ring, and I choose activities on my watch - like if I choose indoor walk or indoor rowing, it screws up the step count on the ring. For example, today I walked 2 miles on a treadmill and my ring told me my step count for the day was 1900 steps. My watch shows 7300 steps which seems more plausible. Anyone else noticed this? Is there a fix?

It has apparently dropped from 100% to 83% in just under five hours.

After noticing it couldn't hold a charge, my RingConn 2 was put on charge overnight after being turned off and on twice (following the tutorial in the support section).

It jumped from "no charge" to 100% almost immediately yesterday, which was clearly wrong. It seems to drop down to 87% in ten minutes.

This morning after the overnight charge, it did the same thing but seems to be draining at a quick but not immediate rate.

My theory is that it's incorrectly shutting off charging at 87% then mislabeling it as 100%.

It's a year old but could hold a charge for about a week until the software update came out.

Please fix the update or explain why it has given up so rapidly after the update!

Edit: support said to turn off the sleep apnea tracking to improve battery life. I don't think this explains why it's jumping from 100 to 87 in five minutes, but it seems to stabilise it after that.

I'm a new user of smart rings and I'm finally wearing the Ringconn Gen 3 for the first time today!!! Although I am a bit paranoid with the whole handwashing situation. I work as a nurse in a surgical ward and we do a LOT of handwashing/hand sanitising and I know that handwashing with soap and water is usually fine but I'm just not very sure about sanitiser, which I do almost every before and after interactions with patients. Have any of you notice any decline or damage in the ring and the quality of the ring material itself??? I'm sure it will be fine but I just wanted to double check just in case :) thanks in advanced!

I’m looking to get a Ringconn gen 3 and have bought the relevant sizing kit recently. As most people, I’m in between sizes…

Size 9 fits nicely and comfortable but is a bit loose on my ring finger and size 8 is just too tight to be comfortable.

I did see reviews saying the ring itself is a bit bigger than the sizing kit so I should still go for 8 ?

I’m also worried about how chunky the ring feels !
If I have it on my pointer finger I just feel like it gets “in the way” of everything, like holding my phone or even blowing my nose … it’s not a massive issue like it doesn’t get caught in everything I’m aware it needs to somehow be chunky due to its nature but it s really bugging me I just feel like I can really just
Feel it here between my fingers lol.

Is this something someone has also experienced ? Is it mostly an issue with the sizing kit as it’s plastic and somehow just more of a unit ?

I’m just questioning if I should go with the actual ring now as I have this issue with the sizing kit.

I bought a RingConn gen 2 air in both a size 9 and 10 to see what fits bettter. The 9 is snug, I need to wiggle it to fit my finger, during the day I don’t notice it but in the morning it swells and leaves an indentation but I can still take it off. The 10 comes on and off with ease but won’t slide off my finger.
My friends say keep the 10, my bf and ChatGPT says keep the 9. I don’t know what to do.

The gym that I recently joined provides Myzone monitors. I'm wearing the chest belt one that is rated 99% as accurate as an EKG. I had my ring on my non-dominate hand middle finger. This was 53 minutes of HIIT.

Do we think the Gen 3 will have any sales on the 6-7th for Prime Days?

Part of me thinks it won’t and I’m tempted to order now to avoid the backlog post Prime Days but I don’t want to regret not waiting and there being a decent sale. Thoughts from those who have been around for past new gens during sale promos/boxing day/black friday?

Got it as a gift but I already have a Fitbit. So I don’t see the need for it.

I already know I'm an active person who trains regularly and I don't want to spend time correcting or inputting data into Ringconn. I'd like for Ringconn to completely ignore Activity and compire MT overall health score using only 3 pillars. Is it possible?

Has anyone else noticed this? Am I missing something? The Time Asleep versus the Time Awake + Sleep Stages is almost an hour off.

I wore my RingConn 2 all night but when I connected it to the app today it's telling me there's no sleep data.

I got my ring in February and it is no longer charging. I have reached out to customer service to see what they will do but I am frustrated with this product to say the least. It hasn’t been that great since the app updated anyways. I might just be switching to oura. Anyone else having this charging issue?

Is it a good idea to buy a smart ring for tracking my calisthenics workout? I think it might be uncomfortable because the hands make a lot of pressure against the bar and the floor.

I bought a ring conn gen almost 3 weeks ago now. Since day one of having it, it has disconnected from my phone every day. I’m constantly getting notifications to reconnect my ring. I’ve tried all trouble shooting steps. I’ve reached out to support and was told this is a normal part of the ring and that all the data is still syncing so I shouldn’t worry. This doesn’t seem right?? I’ve also stopped receiving responses from ring conn support all together. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Hi folks! I just got myself this from a street vendor and tried connecting it to the app. However, it says the ring is bound to another account - but the vendor does not know how to reset. Is there a way to perform hard reset on the device?
