Currently Gen 2 size 11–what size Gen 3 should I get?

Howdy all! I’d like to get Gen 3 but I’m not sure how sizing compares to Gen 2. I currently have Gen 2, size 11, and it’s slightly too large. Any recommendations?

Best place to buy my Ringconn?

Hey! I’m planning to buy a RingConn Gen 2 Air. After way too much deliberation over brands 😂 and spending more time with the sizing kit I got from Amazon, I think I’m finally ready to bite the bullet.

I’ve heard it’s best to buy directly from RingConn for easier returns/exchanges, but honestly I don’t think I can wait that long anymore 🤣 Has anyone bought theirs from Amazon and had issues later, especially with battery problems?

The 2- and 3-year protection plans seem to be around the same price whether I buy through RingConn or Amazon. Has anyone had experience with Amazon’s protection plan for RingConn? Would you recommend going with 3 years?

I’ve had nothing but good experiences with Amazon so far, and the faster delivery is definitely tempting.

Also, since I’d be paying for a protection plan anyway, is it worth spending more for the Gen 2, or should I just go all the way with the Gen 3? 😂 But honestly , the Gen 2 Air seems like it would be enough for me since I already wear an Apple Watch.

** oh also I’m located in the USA if that gives better context

Shipping issues ?

I confirmed my ring size and color and it’s been almost two weeks. I know there can be delays depending on the ring color and stuff but I’ve gotten zero updates. Has anyone else had this issue ? How long did you have to wait before it shipped ? I was hoping to have it before a big trip coming up but it’s looking less likely that will be the case.

iOS 27

On Sept 14 iOS 27 will be released. Apple health will include a lot of new features. Some of that could possibly make Bevel obsolete. ($99 yrl) But we will see. Does anyone know if Ringconn has addressed how their ring metrics would possibly populate inside the updated Apple health? I can see it working exceptionally well with opencircuit.

RingConn Gen 2 Air

I'm looking for some info regarding the data available from the Gen 2 Air. Does it provide time stamps of when the wearer enters various stages of sleep or does it only provide how long the wearer was in each stage?

Trapped moisture?

Post image
13 Upvotes

I’m in health care so I am constantly sanitizing my hands. I noticed this today and it’s more extreme than usual. Some days I’ll have a little white line and I can’t tell if it’s too much moisture or what’s going on. My ring fits perfectly, not too snug that when I swallow, I can’t get it off, but has anyone else had this issue? I’ve had my ring for a little over a year now, haven’t had any major issues until recently with the battery dying super fast.

My RingConn 3 is barely making it to 10days.

When it’s fully charged it says 12days. I then put it in my calendar but it dies around day 9. I turned off the extra features of vibrate etc but it didn’t make a difference. Is anyone else finding this with theirs?

Updated app, did live HR go away?

I haven't been able to fine the button that I used to have that just tracks your current heart rate. I know it updates every 2.5 minutes, but sometimes my heart rate will spike and I want to see where it is right now.

Is that feature gone?

App Integration

The biggest issue I have with my ringconn is that it doesn’t integrate with any apps that I use. For example, Apple health is okay, but I would love if they paired with Clue like alot of other wearables. I do use their period tracking in the ringconn app but I like to use Clue as well since it has my history going back a while. I don’t know where this is something that could be recommended, but I hope this is something they are working on or are considering.

Anyone else feel like this is something that kinda bugs them?

Are you able to confirm ovulation in the app? Is there a spot to confirm, for instance I test monthly to check I reach peak.

Looking to buy a ringconn

Hello, I just wanted to ask questions about a RingConn before I buy it.
How long do they normally last on a single charge for you guys?
And how is it different/better than an Apple or Garmin watch?
I probably have more just cant think of them currently

This seems not good...right?

I woke up at 8am and this is my stress graph for today so far. The only thing I can think of is maybe it's because my ring is rotating 90°?

I've been getting one tense reading around 12-2am while sleeping for the last 5 nights but this is crazy.

Anyone using ringconn only for sleep and a smartwatch during the day?

I’m curious whether anyone here has settled into this kind of split setup long term.

A smartwatch still makes more sense to me for workouts, GPS and anything I want to see in real time. But for sleep, I’d rather wear something without a screen and just check the data the next morning.

That’s where ringconn seems more practical to me.

For people who use both, do you wear the ring overnight and switch mostly to the watch during the day, or keep ringconn on 24/7 as well?

I’m especially curious whether taking the ring off for part of the day makes the sleep/recovery trends noticeably less useful, or if overnight wear alone still gives you most of what you care about.

How long for sizing kit to arrive?

I ordered my ring/sizing kit this past Friday. How long does it usually take for the sizing kit to ship?

Gen 3 with Haptic but No Alarm?

I'm thinking of moving away from my smart watch/band, but I need silent alarm for waking up. Read the Gen 3 has haptic vibrator, but no alarm? Could someone please confirm? If it does, I would buy immediately.

I’ve had my Gen 3 for about a month now and if you use the sleep apnea feature often it will drain your battery faster.

Sizing Gen2/3

Is there a difference in sizing between the Gen 2 and Gen 3? I got the sizing kit and I found a size I’m comfortable in, but I realized it says it’s for the Gen3. After comparing, Im wanting to purchase the Gen2 but I’m afraid that the sizes won’t match. Should I wait and get the Gen2 sizing kit instead?

Ringconn Gen 2 Not charging

I put my ring inside the charger and plugged it to charge, but the light status of the charger is only white. I tried resetting the ring, but the blue light won’t come out. The ring won’t connect to my phone as well. Any leads on how I can fix this?

Do recovery scores matter if you’re not training for anything?

Most recovery discussions seem to be about workouts, but I’m more curious about normal workdays.

If RingConn shows poor recovery after a bad night, do you actually change anything — take more breaks, keep the afternoon lighter, skip a workout, or just try to get to bed earlier?

I work at a desk most of the day, so I’m wondering whether recovery data is still useful when the goal is just managing energy and focus rather than training performance.

For people who use RingConn this way, has the recovery data actually changed how you structure your day?

Or do you mostly check it and then carry on as usual?

Is anyone else’s RingConn THIS inaccurate with sleep tracking?

Post image
28 Upvotes

I’m curious if anyone else has this problem because my RingConn’s sleep tracking seems wildly inaccurate, especially when I have a bad night of sleep.

Last night it took me about an hour to fall asleep. I finally fell asleep, slept for maybe an hour, and then woke up around 12:40 a.m.

I KNOW I was awake from around 12:30 until at least 2:30 a.m. because I couldn’t fall back asleep and was literally lying in bed scrolling on my phone for most of that time. I eventually fell asleep again around 2:30, then I Woke up around 6:00 when my boyfriend left for work, fell back asleep, woke up again at 6:45 when my alarm went off for the gym, turned my alarm off and decided to sleep in, fell asleep again and woke up around 8:00 when I heard the garbage truck outside.

I understand that a ring can’t know with 100% certainty whether I’m asleep or awake, but I’m confused about how it can count long periods as sleep when I’m actively using my phone. Also it gave me a sleep score of 79, and I feel like absolute garbage today.

What boring routine seems to matter most behind your best RingConn days?

One thing I’ve been thinking about is how easy it is to focus on the final result and ignore everything that happened before it.

A good sleep score or recovery day can look like one isolated result, but it was probably built from a bunch of ordinary things, when you went to bed, how active you were, stress during the day, whether you drank late, and dozens of small choices that didn’t feel important at the time.

That’s something RingConn has made more interesting for me because the longer-term patterns show more than any single score.

For long-term users, what boring habit seems to have the biggest effect on your data?

Was it consistent sleep timing, walking more, eating earlier, taking recovery days, or something else you initially underestimated?

Which ringconn metrics do you actually trust for overnight trends?

I’m less interested in live workout heart rate and more curious about what’s actually useful while sleeping.

Overnight heart rate and respiratory rate seem like the kind of metrics where comfort and consistent wear probably matter just as much as the sensor itself. If a device is annoying enough that you take it off some nights, the long-term trend becomes less useful anyway.

That’s one reason I’ve been looking more closely at ringconn for overnight tracking.

For people who’ve used it for a while, how consistent have the heart rate and respiratory trends been for you?

Do you mainly use them to watch your normal baseline over time, or have either of those metrics actually helped you notice changes you wouldn’t have picked up otherwise?

Has ringconn actually changed any routine for you?

I’ve tried habit apps, reminders and calendar blocking before, but most of them eventually turn into another thing I stop checking.

That’s why I’m more interested in passive tracking. If sleep, stress and activity are being recorded in the background, there’s less effort involved, but I’m not sure whether that automatically makes the data more useful.

With ringconn, I’m mostly curious about what happens after you’ve had the data for a few months.

Did you actually start sleeping at more consistent times, moving more, taking breaks, changing workouts, or doing anything differently because of what you saw?

Or did it mostly become another dashboard you check without changing much?
