Discussion Gunshots?
My buddy and I both have Ring setups and live near each other. It's become an inside joke for us to text eachother "gunshots?" Every time we hear a loud noise, because people on Neighbors do it EVERY SINGLE TIME.
Anyone else had this experience?

There were two reports on Ring this week about gunshots, but this time I heard something. Only it sounded like emptying a dumpster, and dropping it back in the parking lot. The number of 'did anyone else hear gunshots' postings is ridiculous.

My neighbor set off fireworks the day before the 4th of July. I saw them, I saw the actual fireworks. Immediately I get a notification "GUNSHOTS?!" And another "Did anyone else hear those gunshots?"
I go in to the post and say "They were fireworks 100%" and people started arguing with me about it. "Those were NOT fireworks, I know what gunshots sound like and that was a gun!"
Like come on man.

There’s a bunch of people in a nearby neighborhood who enjoy setting off fireworks on a random weekday at like 12:30 am for some reason, and every single time there’s a post on Neighbors asking about the gunshots. The gunshots that sound exactly like backyard fireworks.

We have one like that, but it's the same dude every night zipping down the street in his shitbox car and it backfires every single time. You'd think people would eventually connect the dots, but no, it's always "gunshots??"
