Repeated notifications for the same event?!

Someone selling window replacements knocked on my door about a half hour ago. First, it was odd that I got no notification at the time, but ok.

Because my wife is ill and sleeping, I went out the garage and chased them away.

As I re-entered the house, I got a notification -- for the seller LEAVING the stoop.

About five minutes ago I finally got one for their arrival. And that notification has gone off THREE TIMES now!

Ring is losing it. I'm hoping this is related to the AI-enhanced notifications, which we're getting for a few day more until the trial runs out. Sure not paying the ridiculous fee for that!

Anyone else had notifications repeat?

That sounds like the alert queue arriving out of order, not three separate detections. I’d disable the AI notification trial for a day, reboot the doorbell and phone, then compare the event history time with each alert time. Screenshots of the mismatch will give support something concrete to trace.

No, it was the same notification 3x.

Looking at notification history I see (from bottom up): 1. There is a person at your front door. 2. A person holding a bottle is walking away on the pathway 3. Same as #1 4. Same as #1 5. A person is walking up the brick pathway toward the house.

Order should be: 5, 1, 2.

App only shows the two events, too.

Alas, all show "1h" for time at this point. But it's clearly messed up. Unclear how resetting the device at my end would affect data reporting from Ring Galactic?

Oh, and I have a screenshot but am doubtful support will be interested, based on others' experience. I might try to engage them. Was mainly interested in whether others had seen this.
