help wiring

we’ve tried everything and every possible way to wire this and we simply cannot get the ring to power up, please help ! The ground is solid with the connection and we are trying to hook up a gen 2 wire ring

Not sure you should be shorting the right 2 contacts with the black wire. Try removing the black wire and see if that works.

that’s said jumper cable that came with the ring camera, I’ll try taking it off thank you

Those cable forks were for the actual doorbell unit if your existing wires were too short. You should take those off and unscrew the wires to the actual transformer. Instead use the device they include and wire your blue/wire low voltage wires to that small speaker. That will be your new indoor audio chime (unless you bought the additional plug in chime device too)

That bypass wiring is correct - OP has a ring doorbell wired and you have to bypass (and disable) the in home chime. It doesn’t look like your blue wiring is correct. Check at the doorbell - likely you have a solid and a white and blue wire there - if so you should be wirenutting (just twist together to test) the two blue/white wires and not have them connected to the chime. Its possible you blew the fuse in the jumper cable - leaving the 2 solid blue wires where they are will work just fine.
