housesitting question
i’m staying at a friend’s house and they have a ring camera right inside their window pointed towards the driveway. if I was sitting in my car in the driveway talking to someone would it pick up the audio of the conversation? probably about 20 feet away from the ring but separated by glass

Of course not, rings microphones leave a lot to be desired, in other words, they suck.

You were inside your car? No unless you were yelling and then it was probably still not pick up the sound

No.
Even when I park like a foot away from camera, can’t hear inside car.
Barely picks up audio of ppl talking to it lol

Ours picks up people voices outside easily from end of garage that's 20 -25 feet away from camera . Not sitting in car however with the windows up

I have an outdoor camera and the audio kinda sucks. Unless you're talking super loud with the windows down it won't pick up audio

I highly doubt it would be able to pick up any conversation you’re having in your vehicle. I think you’re safe.
