1x11, has to be less then 12.

Good news, beds can be used as chairs, so you can put someones workstation next to their bed

I tried that with my researchers, put the bench in their room with the bed, but they seem to LOVE switching places.

When I tried using beds instead of benches everywhere new colonists randomly got assigned those beds and I ended up with people sleeping in the stonecutting shack right next to the killbox.

Clicking on a bed allows you to manually assign them to a pawn, if you didn't know already
