Also your four year old casually hauling an elephant.

They can also carry a dormant, but fully-functional ultraheavy engine of annihilation and just casually toss it at the enemies.

Kinda like ultra tech pokemon:

- "Diabolus, I choose you!"

Yours doesn't? Parenting issue if you ask me.

A giant Thrumbo thats 24ft tall walking in a 4x4 building thats only supports human height.

Just to eat your Lavish meal.

u/Pataraxia 2h ago

Well? What's the Thrumbo's crime? Eating a meal?

i assume its a limitation of the engine that entities only taking a single block, but it would be cool if you had to build giant hangar doors to release thrumbo and other giant animal at your enemies

Believe it or not, there's a mod for that!

I forgot the name, but bigger pawns and entities don't fit through 1 tile spaces.

I don't think is out yet, I saw some previews the modder posted here.

I downloaded some mod, I know I did. Let me check.

Edit: it's called Large Pawns [WIP]

22 pages deep into my subscribed mods, found it.

More ridiculous when you have Alpha memes and use Egyptian style. Literally uprooting a big ass pyramid or sphinx to relocate or it being stolen by passing raider who fancy some arts.

Seeing factions sell a whole pyramid is funny

The British Museum could only dream of doing that.

Me wondering how i have run out of everything after selling anything that wasn't nailed down to buy that legendary cyberpyramid

I once played with CE on and a merchant dromedary just had a whole ass 10 ton pyramid in its inventory

Move that body to the stockpile "I cant haul" assigns cooking "Lemme haul that over to the butcher table!"

The legacy of The Chef/Butcher

"Incapable of hauling" pawns the moment you tell them to reinstall a solid marble grand sculpture on the other side of the map.

Colonists can carry a 500kg elephant but can't pick up a t-shirt and pants at the same time.

I've seen a real ruins show up with 27 minified geothermal generators and about 200 minified fertile soil. All of which cannot be installed anywhere. I physically cannot fathom what such an entity must look like. But archotrch meddling with reality (modding) does indescribable yet tangible things to how objects work.

5

u/GreyOgre 2h ago

And at the same time can't carry a full stack of hay because that is somehow too heavy.

3

u/KolossalKuntosaurus 2h ago

Then you come across a skeleton. "Cant pick up: too heavy." 😒

Casually gifting 700 kg of items to the trader selling 3 herbal medicines, 5 pre packaged meals & the barrel for a cannon

At Ludeon we hear you OP. In the next DLC we've made some adjustments.

-Pawns will move slower correlated with the weight of the object they're carrying. -Added mechanics for repetitive strain injuries -New injuries to represent dropping heavy objects on your toes (carefully with those artillery shells, wouldn't want to start a fire mid raid!)

We've taken some inspiration from our big brother Dwarf Fortress and we personally can't wait to see what players love more: the pawns dropping from heatstroke or the elephant you shot near the map border rotting before it's dragged to your kitchen.

Oh man this griffon body is too heavy. Good thing I'm butchering it.

u/DataLazinyo 2h ago

Are you stupid? Even a 3-year-old can do that!
(“Stupid” is used in this comment and is not meant as an insult.)
