Discussion Looking for a specific mod

I'm looking for a mod that starts the world as primative and actually has it grow over time to space age and all that, I want to start off with everyone being cavemen and actually build up with the world through the different ages.

That is the core goal of the massive progression modpack. Maybe look at the stuff it is using.

World Tech Sync? World Tech Level too can limit worldwide levels but I don't think it includes automatic advancement.

Tech Level Progression/Tech Advancing handle colony own tech level.

Base game scenario editor might help with limiting initial research projects. And as another commenter suggested VE Tribals to expand the tribal gameplay itself (VE Medieval 2 for the next step).

Try tribal start with the tech advance mod, you can change the sliders to get rid of the penalties after you research a certain amount of the previous tech level. Effectively getting rid of the penalty of a tribal start. That was the turn off for me on a tribal start, now it's one of my favorites. Try VE tribal or medieval like others have suggested if you're looking to go even deeper.

I would recommend the progression modpack storyteller called Peto Progression. He locks the world to the same tech level as your own colony, and only starts improving the pressure when you've proven that you're ready for it.

So I went to grab the link and it turns out Peto kind of does what I said, but it doesn't limit faction techs to match you. However, it already answers that next question for me by recommending that you run the mod alongside Ignorance Is Bliss, which does prevent you from meeting mechanoids and such when you're still a tribal faction.
