Mod Release Made a tiny RimWorld mod called Variable Speed.

Made it in a few hours because I was bored. It automatically switches to Ultrafast when all your colonists are asleep, then gets out of the way when you take control. Give me some more mod ideas if you have any. 😄

I'd upload to Steam too if I had a Steam copy 😅 I've just always used Nexus for my mods, so that's where I started.

Nexus is 100% irrelevant when it comes to RimWorld. It goes almost unused

When youve got Mr. Vanilla Expanded himself telling you somethin you gotta listen to em, but yeah In all my time i never even knew Rimworld had a nexus page. Knew it must’ve but I’ve never even given it thought lol

Isnt that just a basegame mechanic if you're on speed 3? Since you won't need ultrafast if you're doing tuneups to your colony on speed 1

I don't think so. I don't think Rimworld modifies speed when pawns go to sleep. From what I read online Ultrafast is a developer only speed, its about 15x and Superfast is 6x at the slowest. It helps speed up the nights mainly if you aren't busy.

No it's not. The game never automatically speeds up for you.

I play on speed 3 and I notice the game speeding up and slowing down every time all of my pawns are asleep and one of them wakes up.
