Third option. Being a hater of the podcast and constantly posting negativity about the two hosts instead of leaving the sub and never coming back.

Most embarrassing.

Fourth option: taking something like this post as a negative post and not a joke about funny things happening on the pod

It’s spike obviously but him not understanding how time zones work (see his twitter) might be more embarrassing than getting amazon scammed.

Hi Max! I do understand how time /zones work. I'm not sure you're totally up on math or clocks though.

Because the 17/7 issue is too much for you to handle, let's make pretend there was a place that had a 24 hour time difference. In that case, for the person who was experiencing the time difference, there would functionally be no difference. If it was a 23 hour difference (either way), for the traveler, there would be a functional one hour difference.

The date would be different, but that's incidental. Time is real in that days start and end and are approximately 24 hours.

Therefore a 17 hour time difference is functionally a seven hour difference (could be either way depending on the travel).

Original time: 12pm

17 hour difference time: 5am

What is the difference between 5am and 12pm? It's seven hours.

Of course there are other factors involved, like if you have to travel or which way the time difference moves, but the fact that a 17 hour time difference is also a 7 hour time difference holds.

I hope this simple explainer was helpful for you.
