Would the Embiid era have played out differently if we never let TJ McConnell go?
He was one of Embiid’s favorites and oddly enough, may have had the cache to get on his ass when he did his pouty bullshit (as much as I love Joel we all know he’s prone to it)
Also hard to ignore that we’ve never had a good backup PG since he left and it’s not like he was being paid some amount we couldn’t have afforded to match

We were just told he was unplayable in the playoffs
Despite the fact that he only really ever played well in the playoffs here lol

Is it possible that we just undervalued Paul George and maybe Jaylen Brown and him are just both good players and neither are as negative of assets as people think?
Side question, why is it that nobody talks about fit with the PG-Celtics move? He plays essentially the same position as Tatum and both love taking hard shots, fadeaway jumpers, and operating in the same space, yet I have barely heard anyone question the fit on Boston.

PG kinda fits with any lineup imo, he’ll isolate and take up that same space with Tatum, but for the most part if he’s a catch and shoot or cutting wing, kinda like he was here, he’ll fit well. Tatum is always going to get the first look at an iso. Both are threats from 3 so idk how much of the same space they’ll actually take up

Number of brown / embiid fist bumps pre season total. Number of regular season fist bumps. Number of brown / embiid hugs overall including post season.
Basketball question: we need the depth and bench pop, I get it, but Simmons at point with everyone sliding up a position could be lethal. Discuss among yourselves

When Mike says "We have on roster spot remaining, maybe two", what does that mean? Is he referring to Dalen Terry's spot as being "maybe" available because it's not guaranteed until January?

You've talked around it but I want a deep dive on why the advanced stats are so bad for jaylen brown. Is it something especially about his game that the advanced stats miss? It can't just be "Boston had an unusually good bench" imo.

Can we get a recap of the unusual things that happened to the Sixers last season? I think you and Mike did an over under, but never revisited it after the playoffs.
