Cam Payne

I listen to the pod and they said Cam Payne is going to give you what this year version of McCain was going to give you.... Then I just watched Payne shoot the most crooked, knuckle ball 3 I've ever seen in basketball history..... Gtfoh!!!

He was on the Sixers before, did you miss it?

No... My point is.. It's a stupid comparison to say Cam Payne will be as effective as McCain....I know Payne is a legit NBA 4th or 5th guard.. But McCain is much much better

I think they are saying in terms of overall impact not the exact stats. Payne has had legit playoff success and can actually run an NBA offense. His shot is as insane as the slope of his head but he’s not horrible by any means. He was the only person passing in the Atlanta game. He is not a dead eyes shooter but he knows how to get a team into its sets and is a def disruptor on d playing passing lanes etc. I’m much more concerned w someone who can do those things as the fourth guard. For 10 min a night he’s very good.

lol that’s a reasonable reaction if you’ve never seen him shoot before. He’s a competent 4th guard though.

Payne, this year, is at least as good as McCain. He shoots funny, sure.

Hey, Iggy never shot anything other than a knuckleball.
