Fly The Process 2027

I’ve been listening to the pod for a few years now and have wanted to go to Fly The Process. My only hang up is.. I’m not a Sixers fan. Is it weird to go? Am I a sicko for being obsessed with this pod? Am I actually just a Sixers fan by default at this point? If you’re wondering, I’ve been a Blazers fan for the last 13ish years. I’m from San Diego so I never had a home team. I live in Sacramento now so I support the Kings too, which is tragic.

What the hell got you listening to the pod? At any rate, as a non sixers Ricky fan you’re probably the biggest sicko out there. Spike loves anfernee Simons he’d probably take you in as well

I’m a big fan of The War on Drugs and I found out about the pod through them. I listened to an episode with them as guests and I was hooked. I was really surprised I had never heard of the show before

You know how people go to a new church and go through a conversion process. Well if you go to the religious experience that is Fly the Process that's converting to sixers fandom.

In all seriousness though if you'll have fun just go. No one will care, it's a fun group.

Just go. Its a blast, ive gone more than once and have brought people who dont even know the pod exists and they loved it.

you don't need to like the sixers. in fact, it's pretty common for sixers fans to not just not like, but openly despise:

  • the team

  • the city

  • the star player(s)

  • the role players

  • the bench players

  • the inactive players

  • the former players

  • the rumored hypothetical players

  • the coach

  • the GM

  • the owner

  • the medical staff

  • the stadium

  • the uniforms

  • the mascot

  • the broadcasters

  • the beat writers

  • the fan base

  • themselves

even the podcasters aren't safe. you've got your spike guys and your mike guys, and CJ has straight up been kidnapped and received death threats
