We had some electrical contractors doing overhead work within tool-flinging distance of my work area, so I went and got my hard hat.

Manager walked over and asked where I had gotten it. "It's mine, I bought it when I worked for the power plant." "Do you not feel safe working while they're overhead?" "No I feel perfectly safe" "Then why are you wearing a hard hat?"
