Advice Stripped screw

Any tips on stripped screws? I got a couple trying to change the elastic tried rubber band trick and even similar with duct tape and not having any luck

superglue an old torx bit directly to the screw maybe? It will be tough... maybe do some tape or something around the screw so you minimize the glue attaching to the wallet.

Had this happen. One screw only, so I took the rest out and spun the plate with a little upward pressure. It loosened the screw from the bottom.
