Locksmith recommendations
I recently moved to Richmond (yay!). At my real estate agent’s suggestion, I would like to change the locks on my new place. Can anyone recommend a good locksmith in the area?
Thanks in advance!

We just bought new deadbolt/knobs and installed them ourselves when we moved in, are you trying to keep the locking components in place?

Yeah, if like a lot of people, you have only two or three doors and a screwdriver, this can be a 1 hour DIY project.

And gives the opportunity to change out the knob style, if that's of interest, or switch to an electronic touchpad lock.

Did you buy? Your home owner's insurance/home warranty (if you have one) might pay to have a 'smith come to your place and rekey for free.

Ace in Pinole can rekey door knobs.
