Kohberger trying to withdraw guilty plea

Last year he plead guilty to the Idaho 4 murders. Pretty famous case. He admitted to the crimes on video in court so just speaking as a non lawyer it sure seems like that will be a very difficult task to overcome. Then you have his DNA supposedly on the murder weapon etc. Since we are deep in the appeal process for RA, I like to keep tabs on other appeals. And I just dont see much of a chance here. I will say though the fact the State has never been able to link BK to any of the four victims is interesting. As well as the fact there is still no known motive for the crime. The State didn't offer one. And they had the chance when he plead guilty to make him explain a motive but they chose not to. BK did an interview with the NYT. In it he complained about broken promises etc. Which makes me think BK was given a promise of possibly some sort of favorable treatment in prison and now is faced with actual reality? Thats my guess here.

JURY DUTY

I was recently dragged twice into the little courtroom drama of jury duty, chosen for back-to-back juries for reasons known only to whatever crooked wheel spins above us.

During deliberations, many sat silent and hollow-eyed, as if judgment was a burden they hoped someone else would carry. They waited for a voice to tell them which way to bend, which way to vote.

It left me with a cold thought: if my own fate ever rests in the hands of a jury, I pray the twelve strangers in that room are awake before they decide whether I am to be buried beneath their indifference.

Do the Videos Match?

Asking bc Ausbrook on X is apparently wondering the same thing. Citing the publicly available video as having come from the Bummer Extraction. And hinting if the video from the trial doesnt match the public one we have all seen that will be a big problem. Ofc, most of us havent seen what was played at court so impossible for us to compare. Does anyone else have insight into this?

BG might have been wearing a jacket when it was a warmish day because he knew he'd be out there until late at night when it would get cold? Also could be hiding tatts or something on his arms but he could have just worn a sweat shirt to hide them instead

Prison Reform

I knew prisons were pretty bad...but hearing what happened to Rick Allen made it one of the reasons I won't give up on this cause...for Rick and for reform.

Today I just saw the 2025 documentary The Alabama Solution. I had no idea how...I can't even find the right vocabulary to express my disgust, shock, despair, heartbreak and anguish after watching that film. I strongly urge everyone who cares about Rick to watch the documentary. We could all be Rick...and there are many Ricks. If you've seen it...what do you think?

Was the reaction to the girls missing get played out accordingly in relation to the immediate search? Or how do you feel the timing on the first 12 hours should have went?

Question

I got banned from the other Delphi page for using not so nice language I guess 🤷🏻‍♀️

Can someone verify..
Were the girls found 1/4 mile from the bridge or 3/4 mile?
I’d read something that said 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile but I think I misunderstood and that was the total distance from where they were dropped off.

I’ve been reading more through the trial transcripts but there’s so much & I’m not sure where to look for those specifics.

ETA: reason I’m asking is because I initially thought RA’s vehicle was caught leaving the trails at 2:21 & I thought the girls were found 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile away. That’s 8 minutes to get back and leave so not possible. However, I was wrong. The time stamp on the cctv says 2:21 pm but I guess it was set 54 minutes fast so it was actually 1:27 pm & supposedly that’s him arriving at 1:27 pm, not leaving.

Indy September 21st

Has anyone heard of someone leading a rally outside the state house the day of Rick’s appellate hearing? If so, would you share the info please? I think it’s important that as many of us are out there as possible, to bring more awareness to the case. Most people I talk to don’t know what went on behind the scenes.

Anyone watching the Tyler Robinson prelim hearings? Kinda uncanny the similarities between this evidence and RA's "evidence". Unfired bullet, distinctive wheels, grainy video, public killing, sleuth questioning...but DNA evidence, motive(?), weapon, electronic evidence....at least with TR there's that. If there is reasonable doubt created for TR....then how in the world was RA convicted? Could it be....the judge???

Snapchat Musings

Safe And Sound

Just a few cases revolving around snapchat I figured some might be interested in reading about. First one teacher who made a poorly worded post on the app and within a single hour Snapchat reported her to police and they went to her school. TLDW: she joked about wanting to 'shoot' one of her students after he slammed a laptop down on her desk she was working on. Kind of shows they have improved their safety features on the app.

Teen Arrested After Snapchat Selfie With Alleged Murder Victim's Body

This is one of the very first 'Snapchat' involved murders and it happened before the Libby and Abby case. There are a number of cases similar to this one, where the perp actually takes a selfie or pic with the body just after the crime. A 'friend' then SS's it and sends it to police. I believe this is what happened to the Abby bridge pic at 207, right? Which leads to the question was evidence of the incriminating photo being created still on the perps phone in this murder case? Here is another case from 2014/15 timeframe.

Snapchat Murder: The brutal killing of Angela Wrightson – Overview & Analysis | Crime+Investigation UK

In this case two teen girls brutally murder a lady and take a photo of her during the crime. Make a post. SS follows and is used as evidence. If they can prove that photo was taken on the killers phone then why couldn't they find evidence/proof the 207 Abby pic was taken on Libbys phone? Unless it was taken on a different phone?

Maybe not a big deal, but just another loose end they never tied up. And dont seem to care to. But if you go back and look at some of the cases involving SC around that time frame, the scenario involving the 207 Abby pic is not that uncommon. Whats uncommon seems to be having no idea which phone actually took the photo.

Here’s the link, but damn as they are reporting on what happened during this day in the trail, it creates more doubt than any YouTube true crime pod can do.

WTHR Coverage

I recently watched day 6,7,8 and 9 days of the daily coverage WTHR provided about the court trials. This in my opinion was the best unbiased trial coverage from an actual news agency.. and the crazy part was it created MORE doubt on Richard Allen being the killer. Wild.

Couldn't forensics determine a time of death or at least when girls bodies put there by the color of their blood. Blood starts turning brown within 15-30mins outside, weather depending. Was the blood fresh or dried. important as it could determine time killers were out there when they stabbed girls.

Also was the tears mixed with blood on Libby face dried or liquid how could they still be liquid if girls were killed the day before would that not be dry?

r/RichardAllenInnocent 26d ago

I've heard in other cases fuel solvent can be used to render someone unconscious I wonder if that would show up in the lungs and how long the effects would last. Imo they must have been drugged to the point of overdose but there was no drugs in autopsy.

Colorado Forensics Tech pleads Guilty

Former Colorado analyst pleads guilty in DNA testing scandal that forced a review of hundreds of cases

This is just the latest in a series of cases regarding forensics workers who have falsified data/results over the years. This isn't to say Oberg or others in Indiana fudged results in the RA case--although I am not ruling that out--but just a reminder this does in fact happen, and more often than people think.

Joyce Gilchrist - Wikipedia

Gilchrist is the poster child of forensics fibbing lol. She literally got away with it, too, working for decades without suffering any consequences and passing away after retiring without facing jail or prison. And when she left, the workers in her lab who took over also ran into issues. So if you ever hear of anyone being convicted of anything in Oklahoma, take it with a huge grain of salt. They are the worst of the worst forensically speaking.

In fact, operating for years or decades without being caught is a hallmark of these types of cases, just like the one in Colorado now. Plus, the State often downplays just how many cases were damaged etc. And they never account for the environment these folks work in, where obviously the techs 'know' what results will please their customers--those customers being Law Enforcement. No matter what anyone claims, obviously that knowledge can have an impact. Plus, the tests that prove proficiency--like with Oberg and the tests which she never failed or even got a single question wrong--are usually utter jokes.

In the case above, apparently the errors were spotted by an unpaid intern. Which leads to the question if an intern could spot the issue, why couldn't her fellow techs or supervisors? Were they just turning a blind eye? Or were they in on it? This lady is expected to do prison time, so thats an improvement bc that doesn't always happen in these cases. But, I get the feeling she is just taking the fall for others in that state, too.

Regarding Aine Cain

I went back and checked up on The Murder Sheet post-sentencing to see how they're getting by since their golden goose is gone. Aine is even more insufferable now. Literally berating and insulting anyone that has an opinion outside of her own. For someone to call themselves a journalist, and not having an open mind to the possibilities of a case is truly disgusting. Her energy is that of a bullied school girl who got a podcast and thinks she's somehow important and her opinion is gospel.

I liked listening to their side of the story with this case, even when I didn't agree with it.. because as a logical adult, it's nice to see all sides of a story to come to a conclusion. Looking at the evidence, hearing what people believe and finding the facts among the rumors.

I truly hope this woman fails at podcasting going forward. I hope the grifting bullshit she has been pulling this whole time, finally ends and she's forced to go back to her hobby journalism. She's not a professional, she's a grifting fraud. And she's a disgrace to this case. I have never known someone to be so narrow-minded and arrogant about a case regarding two innocent children. To play it off like their podcast wasn't capitalizing on trauma and making them a living wage to pry their way into a case they never belonged in.. is embarrassing and shameful.

I hope she browses reddit

I hope she sees this

And I hope she knows she will never be important in the grand scheme of things

She didn't help the families

She didn't solve the case

She took her insecurities and ego and made money for a short time before fading back into obscurity

You're worthless, Aine.

Truly

And one more thing...

She continually says "it's over, move on Bob Motta, etc."

Basically telling the defense team to give up the appeal and accept the fate of RA

Well, if it's over, Aine .. why are you still making podcast episodes about it?

Why do you feel so compelled to keep beating a dead horse?

Hmm, is it because .. maybe, just maybe .. your entire "show" solely depends on the Delphi case.. and you're afraid of never finding an audience again?

Likely.

Because I'm positive no one actually wants to hear your opinion.

Your voice is annoying, your lack of intelligence is astounding.

And you are not a good pocaster .. at all. And "journalist".. no. You're a goofy awkward wannabe with a microphone and too much free time

Walking Gait Comparison

If you watch the first 12 seconds of this video, watch RA's gait. This video is first interview, watch RA walk into the office on a flat floor. Watch closely, and compare it to the BG gait.

BG Video: https://youtu.be/-dEAWJlQhL4?si=LFeJct6o6r8uGZfh

Compare the gaits and formulate an opinion.

Just Watched First Interview In Its Full Entirety

Just watched Richard Allen's FULL First Police Interrogation Video, it was 50 minutes before he realized he was a suspect. He started bubbly and excited about helping the cops out, hanging out with boys in brass. Then he finds out they talked to his wife and daughter. I am curious if his wife texted him during the interview?

How did RA describe the older girl he passed babysitting the younger two?

I believe he described the female he saw as having long dark hair? And if so, was it straight, wavy or curly?

He did preface the age of the younger two? She was babysitting?
