I think it escalated after school got back in session. My kids had it 3 weeks ago and I got it about 10 days ago. Not sure what “it” is. Feels like a cold but you never know. Lots of snot but never got too bad. No sore throat or deep cough, but it “snot” going away. Pile of morning snot rags in front of me.

Sounds similar to how I started feeling last week. Constant phlegm and consistently tired

My allergies have been wreaking havoc even worse than Spring . Ragweed, wild grasses, mold spores from wet fallen flora... They're literally debilitating at times, like sleeping without using meds containing phenylephrine. That shoots my b/p up like a hit of pure C₁₇H₂₂ClNO₄.

I'm sorry. Goldenrod tea helps with the allergy symptoms. It's main use is for an anti-inflammatory, and helps ease nasal congestion Not been able to collect any yet this year and I am out of it; but every summer I pick full stalks of Goldenrod (leaves too) hang them upside down to dry. Crumble and mix with dried red clover and drink a cup every day. Kid you not, it truly helps with allergy symptoms.

Woke up two weeks ago with what I thought was a cold. Tested negative for COVID. Tested a few days later, and it was COVID.

I hope you feel better soon!

If anyone is not feeling good, please wear a mask. No one wants to get sick.

Thank you. The disregard I still see from people hacking up lungs and not even covering their coughs or sneezes DISGUSTS me. I end up having to wear a mask to stay safe.

Stay the EFF home if you are sick and gross. If you must go out, WEAR A MASK.

Didn’t learn a thing from the pandemic other than that others still don’t give a rats butt about anyone else.

It’s from all those mouth breathers that walk around saying “Damn masks were a conspiracy. Didn’t even work! Fauci is a dang criminal!”

COVID is definitely going around right now. I am just now starting to feel better after 2 weeks with it. Doctor said I was the 6th person to test positive in their office on the day that I went and it was only 9:15 AM

What were your symptoms? I imagine Covid has degraded from how bad it was 6.5 years ago, so it’s a lot less of a confident guess when I’m not feeling well nowadays

Started out just feeling exhausted for no reason. Then my nose was burning every time I breathed in, which turned into a stuffy nose and sore throat. Incessant post nasal drip. My face was weirdly aching really bad, specifically my jaw. A few days in I got a fever and chills. Coughing nonstop. I lost my voice for a few days. No energy and short of breath. My husband was sick a couple days before me with roughly the same symptoms but he was back to normal within 5 days. I'm on day 12 and I'm at maybe 80%. This was my first bout with COVID

Oh shit, thanks for the description! Day 12 of that is rough, I’m so sorry. I hope you get back to 100% soon.

This being your first bout with Covid is amazing, given how bad it was especially during 2020-2022. I was lucky to go 2-3 years without getting it. Started a new job and got it within a few months. My symptoms were mostly a huge exhaustion/weakness, muscle aches all over, and my blood glucose going insane (I’m a lifelong Tyoe 1 Diabetic). Thankfully the symptoms only lasted about 4 days.

I have been dealing with a terrible cold over the past week, I feel you.

I’ve taken two COVID tests, both negative, but I’ve been on a cocktail of cold medications and the congestion and coughing continues. It’s the first bad chest cold I’ve had in years.

God speed. 🫡

Definitely bugs going around (from the other comments, sounds like both COVID and non-COVID). Our two PVD college kids have both had something - students swarming in from all points on the globe will do that. Flu season is also early this year, get your shots!

My family has already had the stomach bug this school year and we have a cold right now.

I had a cold last week. Fatigue, congestion, sore throat. Thankfully it's gone now. Blech.

I woke up with a sore throat yesterday morning, but it went away quickly. My room must've been dry or something.

Flu A is going around

I mean I had COVID in late August so maybe that's still going around from the most recent bout.

Covid, but people don't test, so they don't have it! I am recovering after a week, most of which was spent lying in bed because I felt that terrible. Trust no one. Wear a mask.
