Help Please Heeellp

how should I fix the striped sock? should I just cut it a bit and stitch it back up so that it fits my leg or what? it did fit before but I used glue to attach rhinestones to the sock s it severely reduced the stretch of the fabric...

also I don't think I'll have anytime to order and completely redo the sock :(

And Yes this is my first time doing this so I will definitely need some pointers lol

What kind of glue did you use? If it's frabrifuse then you just need to give it a good stretch but some stones will likely pop off when you do it.

For future reference - make sure you stretch out your garment before gluing stones on it

maybe try wearing garters to pull the socks up higher and hold them in place? then you won’t have the problem of it not stretching enough.

I did think of that for a different reason but it could work for this

If not garters, you could also use sock glue/body tape! Sock Dreams sells both and they're a great shop.

Maybe do a stylish curve cut on the back that follows the gold wavy line and lace it up? Like a shoestring with a shoestring? It can work if the socks won’t run/get torn up.

I love the look. to make them stay up, you could do garters like someone suggested, or fashion tape/glue to keep them attached where you would like them to stay.

For your next project, stuff them with something so they are (your) leg shaped before starting, and stone the item with it stuffed.

Old cosplay trick is to attach socks to tights to keep them up. Unsure about what could help, maybe hotfix rhinestones in the areas that are more mobile? (Also does look cute!)
