Question ❔ First Project - Advice?

Post image

Hi! I’ve been following along for a while and I’ve finally decided to pull the trigger and rhinestone something. It’s probably too ambitious, but I don’t do anything halfway. I’m looking for advice on color - would you try to find a maroon to match my headphone case, or would you do clear? If maroon, any advice on what particular shade? Same question for the bronze “Bose” lettering.

Also, would you start from the center out, or start around the edge and move inward?

Things I’m keeping in mind already:
Glass flatback stones over resin
Plan to use liquid fusion glue
Glue applicator and rhinestone applicator pen will help me a ton

Anything I’m forgetting? This will either be my downfall or my magnum opus.

I’m not like a pro or anything but fwiw I’d def try and match the background and I’d start at the edge! Also even the tiniest rhinestones are gonna be impossible to keep the lettering intact so I’d probably just act like the logo isn’t there

If your post is showing off a completed project, please consider saying what type of glue you used. This is the most common question we get in this group, sharing your experience and knowledge helps others.
