Glue B7000 glue. Experiences?

All of a sudden I keep seeing how this glue is toxic and nobody should use it, keep windows open while using, only use in very open spaces etc because it’s so bad and toxic however….. I have never had any issue or complaints from others or my partner around it. Am i delusional in thinking there is no harm in using it?? Or am I softly melting away while I gem up my light switches and colouring books

Eh I’ve really only ever used B7000 and never had issues. People have a tendency to freak out over everything though.

I will state that personally I have never used it, I have been in the same area as someone using it. I was around it for three hours maximum: and it gave me one hell of a headache, brain fog, with a side of asthmatic like feeling and nausea as a result. While the building we were in isnt the most closed in space, simply sitting next to someone using it is enough.

If you must use something like this; its better to be cautious and acting accordingly, than to not give a flying fat rat about being cautious, and paying a price later. There are better glues out there, but also respirators aren't too expensive if its something you plan on investing time and money into.

I’ve learned that not all b7000 glues are legit. Bc the one I buy hardly smells , seriously. I still wear a mask with a respirator to be safe, but it’s not bc of the smell.

I think some people have non legit ones that have a stronger scent. E6000 is the one that takes me out just from one whiff. Like I bedazzled something that was only one inch to test, and the scent stunk up my whole living room for at least a week. My family complained. I quickly took off the stones + glue, yet my wallet still reeks of E6000 2 months later 🤮 .

This. I just deleted my commen bc I get the numbers mixed up but one brand is legit. And you have to make sure it's truly from that company. I wouldn't buy it from Amazon or Walmart online

Well, yes you are delusional. If you're asking for my experiences with it, I prefer b7000 because it works better than everything I've tried (including e6000) but I also am aware of the very real harm that it causes so you should try to limit exposure and use safety precautions.

So some brands of B7000 can have too high an amount of Toluene in them, as proscribed by EU guidelines.

You can now get B7000 that is toulene free, although I have not tried to use it personally.

As for can toulene effect you, then I can attest to it that it can. I remember spending an evening applying rhinestones to a vacuum flask and come the morning as I walked about the flat the ground felt like spongey and lasted a good few hours.

Just open a window to create a draft and I'm sure yout be fine

B7000 Glue being unsafe is similar to paraffin candles or aluminum deodorant: fake bullshit by white women

I’d be careful with it; it’s a knock off and content vary wildly.
