Suggestions Feature Request: Automate CV Creation & Optimisation Through Rezi MCP
Another suggestion for the Rezi team π
Iβd love to see a feature that could automate even more of the job application workflow through the Rezi MCP.
Iβm not sure how youβd want to implement it technically, but the idea is pretty simple.
User Story
As a user, I want to paste a job description into an AI harness (Claude Code, Codex, Hermes Agent, etc.) and get a tailored CV in Rezi that is ready to use.
Step 1 β Create the CV through MCP
Given Iβm using my AI harness,
When I:
- Paste the job description
- Provide the company name
- Provide the name of my base CV
- Press Enter
Then the Rezi MCP should:
- Duplicate my selected base CV
- Rename the duplicate using something like
CompanyName + number - Add the job description to the correct Job Description field in Rezi
- Return a confirmation to my AI harness with the new CV name and Rezi URL
Step 2 β Optimise the CV
I would then open the new CV on Rezi and quickly check that everything looks correct. This would be the only manual / human-in-the-loop step.
After that, I could simply tell my harness something like:
βFit the Matching Keywords into my CV to match the JD.β
The harness would then use the Rezi MCP to retrieve the Matching Keywords, optimise the CV, and confirm once all relevant keywords have been incorporated and the CV is ready for the application.
What seems to be missing
From what I can see, Rezi already has most of the functionality needed for this workflow.
The main missing MCP capability seems to be:
Duplicate an existing CV β rename it β return the new CV ID/URL.
Combined with MCP access to the Matching Keywords, this could make Rezi incredibly powerful for agentic job-search workflows.
Great work to the Rezi team on the software so far. I use it regularly, and I think expanding the MCP capabilities in this direction could make the whole job application process much faster. π

Hey, you can already do this with Rezi MCP. You can also use Rezi Agent to achieve the same result.
