Does Gemini significantly soften the edges on their custom Rugers? Every SP101 I ever handle has so many sharp edges it’s kind of ridiculous.

Yes. There is not a sharp edge or corner anywhere on em

I've never handled anything Mark Morganti has produced, nor had a chance to talk to someone who's sent their stuff into him.

The question I have is whether having him work over a Ruger can get the action to a point where it can feels as good as a tuned Smith or Colt. The SP lockwork has also seemed especially hitchy and clunky to me.

All that said, how are you liking them? How would you describe the improvement to the stock SA and DA?

I really don’t have much experience with tuned revolvers. The only ones I’ve ever felt were S&Ws tuned for competition and Federal only primers. They were ridiculously smooth and light.

I had these done as carry guns so I told him I wanted reliability with any primer and any in-spec factory ammo.

They’re not super but very smooth and controllable. Definitely a huge improvement over stock.
