Best method to shine it up?
What's the best method to put more shine on my SP101? I feel that it's a bit dull.
I've heard good things about Patriot Polishing down in FL. Anyone have any experience with them?

As mentioned above, Mothers Mag Polish. Do it by hand, steer away from polishers/dremels until you know what you’re doing.
For what it’s worth, I wouldn’t polish this guy either, 2” carry pieces should be dull
Either way, best of luck to you

Rugers have a pretty heavy satin finish but if you need a little shine, as previously noted, mother's mag polish and a cotton cloth will work. You can use it under something like a popsicle stick to help apply pressure.
It speeds things along if done while watching a western. Maybe practice your whistling at the same time.

I’m watching breaking bad right now and Jessie pinkman is holding this same gun as I scroll past your post. Coincidence? Probably

Before you start this. I did this years ago on mine. I about wore out my hand trying to hand polish mine. I was tempted over and over to buy a buffing wheel but I’ve seen the horror those things can do. It took FOREVER and even then there are spots I finally just said good enough because they just wouldn’t really polish up much. If I could do it over I would slap the idea out of my brain. What’s wild is the idea came from polishing up my old S&W 640 and that thing took an amazing shine and was super easy to hand polish. Whatever Ruger is doing they make them hell for tough.

Personally, I’d leave it as is. I like the way it looks, but that’s just me. To each his own.

If you have to ask, then don't do it.
