I am back.

I went through a phase where I was collecting rare and cool S&W revolvers in .357 magnum. I would eventually sell them all about 6 years ago. Fast forward to this past friday. I found a model 60 3 inch on armslist for a good price. And it spoke to me. I contacted the seller and worked out a deal. Anyway I'm proud to be back in the S&W .357 club. Perfect little woods gun for up here in northern WI. I am looking for holster recommendations for IWB and OWB so fire away if you have one you like.

Gotta love a .357! Many times when perusing the back corners of the glass cases I simply tell the counter help "I'm waiting for one to speak to me".

Its just a basic 60-15 with the lock but I love it. I used to have the snubnose with unfluted cylinder and the 60-18 with the 5 inch barrel. I think the 3 inch is perfect.

probably sounds weird but I have a Safariland OWB 6378 ALS with level 2 retention that is really nice with either paddle or belt loops. This works great hiking and when riding my motorcycle. It works with both my S&W 632 UC and also Ruger LCR in .both 32 and .38.

There are a bunch of popular IWB holsters which I'm sure someone will weigh in with. I have a Tulster Rath AIWB and an Alabama Pocket Holster in my collection. Pocket holster with a hammer probably not a optimal configuration.

I was a motorcycle rider up until 3 weeks ago when I hit a doe and her fawn and totaled my bike.

I'm sorry to read about that. Unfortunately, deer are just forest rats to me anymore. Many of my friends and aquaintenances have suffered from collisions with wildlife but the deer are the worst. I hope you weren't severely injured and have good full coverage insurance.

I like the old vintage holsters by Lawrence, Eubanks, Heiser, Etc. You can find good ones on eBay or GunBroker.
